24.01.2022 The R and S Series Valiant Car Club are at the museum this morning. Gilbert's Motor Museum welcomes car clubs and offers a concession price of $6 per person for group members. We are open today until 4pm and every Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

15.01.2022 This Saturday at Gilbert's Motor Museum, High Street, Strathalbyn - Shed Matters. We welcome car clubs and other interest groups. Admission is just $8 or $6 concession with accompanied children free. We are open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Gilbert's Motor Museum is a initiative of the Strathalbyn Tourism Association and is managed entirely by community volunteers.

09.01.2022 Wow! Mike Bennett's 1957 Lotus 12 has arrived at Gilbert's Motor Museum. This beautiful car was campaigned by Colin Chapman in the 1958 Grand Prix season driven by Graham Hill. It's debut at Monaco was also Hill's first foray into Formula 1. Thanks to owner Mike Bennett for allowing us to display the car which is on display from Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm. Admission is just $8.

01.01.2022 The Austin 7 Car Club stayed overnight in Strathalbyn and made a trip to the Museum today.

01.01.2022 THANKYOU !!!! The committee at Gilbert's wanted to thank the ladies who did the lovely painting - bringing this "Gray" display to life, so we went to Mitre10 Strathalbyn, and asked for some gift cards (expecting to pay). But when they heard what they were for - Mitre10 donated them free of charge to the Museum to pass on. Thank you guys - it was not expected and very much appreciated.
