25.01.2022 DAY 1 MINT........ Coconut Rum & Mint Christmas drink. Enjoy. 1/4 cup* mint simple syrup (recipe follows) 1/2 cupcoconut rum... 2 cupsof chilled coconut milk fresh rosemary and mint to garnish INSTRUCTIONS For the mint simple syrup Muddle 3 fresh mint leaves with 1/2 a cup of sugar until the mint is just crushed slightly and releases its flavor. Add to a small sauce pan with 1/2 cup of water. Cook over low heat until the sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. When sugar dissolves, remove from the heat and pour into a strainer over a jar. Let cool. For the drinks, add all the ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake until the shaker is frosty, about 10 seconds. Pour into sugar rimmed glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

These Herb's and flower's won't be getting sun or rain damage anytime soon. My idea is Necklace and Herb sticks for pot plant's. Watch this space.

24.01.2022 On the 11th day of Christmas HERB CHUNKS 2 cupsfresh parsley, roughly chopped... 2cloves garlic, peeled and minced 1 1/2 cupsextra virgin olive oil INSTRUCTIONS Add everything to a small bowl and stir to combine. Add the mixture to ice cube trays (should make about 16 herb bombs). Freeze until solid. Remove from the ice cube tray and store in a freezer zipper bag. Use in place of fresh herbs in just about any recipe. Not recommended for garnishing though because the extra liquid won’t be welcome. Here’s a tip: For a shortcut to a phenomenal salad dressing, melt a couple of the oil-based Herb chunks whisk in some lemon juice or vinegar, salt, and additional oil. Ta-da! Recipe from pinterest

23.01.2022 On the 8th day of Christmas Lemon Tarragon Vinaigrette 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice 1/4 cup finely chopped shallot... 6 fresh tarragon sprigs 4 tsp. of sea salt 1/4 tsp. of ground pepper 6 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil. 1. combine lemon juice, shallots, tarragon, mustard, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Here's what I used for the brownish one A few springs of Marjoram Sugar Vinegar Garlic Basil Tomato paste Salt and pepper I used what i needed for this small jar. Clear one is..... 14.01.2022 WARNING ...RANT! Those of you who are placing Christmas lights/decorations in your yards, can you please avoid anything that has Red or Blue flashing lights together? Every time I come around the corner, I think it's the police and I have a panic attack. I have to brake hard, toss my wine out the window, hide the weed, fasten my seat belt, throw my phone on the floor, turn my radio down, and push the gun under the seat, all while trying to drive. 11.01.2022 On the 10th day of Christmas Chive Vinegar This one is easy and is a favourite of our's 1 Clean jar 2 Add Vinegar ... 3 Add chives and chive flowers if you can find them the flowers is what gives off the pink colour. 4 Seal lid tight 5 Put in a dark spot for 2 weeks. 6 Strain the chives out 7 Put the Vinegar back into a jar to use when ever you like.....
