23.01.2022 MONDAY - GILGAI TAVERN is OPEN TO DINERS, YAY!! WE have limitations to 20, so bookings are encouraged, 99371968. And yes you can have a BEER (wine, etc) with a meal. We will continue with takeaway and home delivery and our online order system. And there are some new govt requirements, so it will be a little bit different, please bear with us.

15.01.2022 Happy Anniversary to us, 13 years today we have owned the Tavern. So much has happened over the years. So many people - Staff & customers - in & out (& in again) the doors. Many have become a second family, many great friends & sadly we have lost a few special people over the years. Many return customers -we have seen their kids grow up, grandkids. What a journey. So many ups & downs, with the last 12 months being the most challenging. We are most grateful to all our wonderfu...l staff, over the years but mostly in the last 12-months it has been a constant state of going hard every day. Particularly Robbie & Lizzy - who stuck with us when we had to shut down - trying to keep a business going. And then when we re-opened - big thanks to Dave, Lachy, Brayden, Billy, Ross, Chante, Petrina, Ben, Mick, Barry, Joy & a couple of newbies with Haylee & Tegan. And big thanks to Jai who when it gets too much comes back to the fold to help us out. And thanks to the customers who supported us then & now. We are very lucky. 12.01.2022 Gilgai Tavern is not offering home delivery at the moment. we are having issues trying to find staff. Sorry for any inconvenience. We are hoping to bring the service back after the holidays. We still have our online store, which you can order takeaway meals.
