18.01.2022 Hello all We have now come to the end of our Little Athletics season, with the State Championships now completed, we are now able to hold our presentation. Our presentation and AGM will be on Sunday the 2nd May starting at 11.00am at the Gilgandra Sporties, we will be putting a BBQ on , hope to see everyone there. 17.01.2022 What a great first trial night we had. With 24 kids coming down to trial athletics with us. Tonight we went through shotput, discus and 50m sprints. Everyone show great enthusiasm towards the events.... We will be holding another trial night next Thursday (24th Sept) 5pm-6pm at McGrane oval, meet near netball courts. PLEASE REMEMBER TO REGISTER PRIOR TO ATTENDING - you can select "trial". If you are officially registering, dont forget to have your voucher ready (if using). 17.01.2022 Hello all Please be advise that our registrations should now be working, we had a little issue that hopefully has now been fix, our Covid Plan had to be approved, we received a green light today and should be good to go. If you know of anyone that wants to trial before hand, they do need to register, there is a section for them to select trial member, please let them know.... 16.01.2022 State Qualifying Marks for Region 3. The State Championships Qualifying carnival for U9-U12 will be held at Barden Park, Dubbo on the weekend of February 6th &... 7th, 2021. Athletes may only enter up to four (4) events Qualifying standards are able to be achieved: At your Centre At another Centre Any gala day/meet hosted in a Zone and Region in NSW in the 2020/2021 season. You will need to notify your Centre of any results achieved outside of your Centre you wish to use as a qualifying time/distance/height. All qualifying times, distances or heights submitted will be verified. Please refer to your Centre re entry close date. Successful qualifiers will be announced by LANSW on January 15th See more

12.01.2022 Lachlan Riley is currently competing in his last carnival under the Gilgandra Little Athletics banner. He along with dad Chris are down in Sydney at the Youth State Championship. Today he had his 100m and Triple jump. He ran his 100m heat placing 2nd with a time of 11.44. Proceeded straight to his Triple event, missing out on top 8 by 7cm with a new PB of 12.37m. Topped off the day in the 100m final with a time of 11.53... 1st place time was 10.90 so u can see how close of a race it was. Tomorrow he will finish off with long jump! Good Luck Lachlan! See more

09.01.2022 Little Athletics NSW has been closely monitoring and evaluating developments regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak for the past week or more, with advic...e being sourced daily from the Australian and NSW Health departments. News has just been received that a meeting today of State and Federal Governments has agreed to issue advice to cancel ALL public gatherings of over 500 people. As a result of this advice, we now confirm that this weekend’s State Championships WILL NOT be taking place. We have no further information at this stage, but will make further announcements about centre competitions, selections for the Australian Little Athletics Championships and other relevant matters, at the earliest possible opportunity.

These children will need to be registered, but under the payment section, select trial. All returning athletes are to be registered and are able to participate in the trial nights. Our date for the season start will be the first Thursday of Term 4, subject to Covid restrictions that maybe in place We also hope to hold a quick presentation at our first official athletics night for the 2019/2020 season, we are just waiting to see what the restrictions will be in a few weeks..
