Warialda Novice,junior bull and steer ride on Friday Night is always a popular event aswell as Nyngan show rodeo on Sunday!....Both events are part of their annual shows which is great to see! 24.01.2022 Circus runs deep in our family history and it is something we are extremely proud of!...so many of our family have been great performers in circuses not only in Australia but throughout the world aswell and to this day carry on the family tradition, our rodeo history goes back to the beginnings of rodeo but our circus history goes back generations before this!... 19.01.2022 Re Scheduled Event Notice Due to the current restrictions in place by state governments we wish to advise that the scheduled BHFA Event that was set for the... 1st weekend in October has had to be moved forward to the 21st of November which is hugely disappointing to everyone but we are trying to work with extreme situations that are popping up each day for everyone involved!.. we are currently working with many breeders to try and ensure that everyone can attend our first event and with the current restrictions our Queensland and Victorian breeders would not be able to attend so we are hopeful that the restrictions may change by the new date if not the Event will definitely be going ahead on this date! 21 of November 2020 We will re E Mail all breeders new entry forms and changed details of the Event, if anyone wishes to discuss these issues please contact our current BHFA representatives Brad Pierce 0432 413 093 Garry McPhee. 0428 794 464 Eddie Gill. 0458 658 751 We apologise for any inconvenience but it is essential to give everyone the opportunity to attend our first event as its in the best interest of us all!! 17.01.2022 Wow what a great week at Rockhampton and how good it was to get back rodeoing. We’d like to thank Gavin Tickle and CQLX on such a professionally organised event which definitely didn’t disappoint. Working with professionals makes work so easy. Our crew of personnel are second to non and they proved it on the weekend. Judges: Ian Watkins,Dale Carter and Stuart Frame. Pick up Men: Mark Lyons, Peter Kelly and Gary Wendt. Announcers: Larry Cann,Jake Smith and Tate Van Wel, Chut...e Boss: Gav Milner and Troy Cross Bullfighter: Jared Borghero Gate Crew: Ash Potter,Riley Carter,Rob Kennady,Hugh Mcnamee Pat yourselves on the back fullas you guys did a superb job. We must make special mention of the announcers who sold the event perfectly with one of the best displays of professional rodeo commentary we have seen in a long time which included Tate Van Wel the hottest young announcer around who is a certainty to scoop up plenty events this year! He definitely gets our tick of approval! The 3 day event ran extremely well and competition was outstanding which is the tone for professional rodeo in Australia So thanks to all who attended and all who made the event so enjoyable to do! We are extremely happy with our team of futurity horses that traveled to tumut on the weekend for Australia’s first bucking horse futurity they did themselves proud winning both the classic (Hilltop Hood) and futurity (Cowboy Cool) division’s aswell as taking out 1st and 2nd in the high point horse along with the best preformed team award. 06.01.2022 Over the years we have had the pleasure of campaigning some outstanding Broncs but there has been non better then #40Apache Warrior!...his buck off rate was as good as it gets and his manners was amazing for such an athletic horse, Halter broke Warrior could load anywhere and when he was in the bucking chute would almost fall asleep while being saddled. Which I think was a bit scary because when the gate opened he was like a stick of dynamite going off! Exploding into the a...rena with great power!...#40 lived out his last 10 years retired at Upper Horton and was finally laid to rest here at home at Campfire alongside other champion bucking horses! Will always remember the great days with Apache Warrior like the one in the photo at Mt Isa Rodeo back when we used to attend the event at the original rodeo grounds!
