20.01.2022 It seems I haven't had a "page" on Facebook, which is why people who are not Facebook members have been unable to view my postings. I am apparently still learning how this whole thing works!!! So, I may have to start putting all sorts of stuff here that I may have already posted before......what? Where? Never mind - tomorrow I'll look at it all again and maybe get it right!

20.01.2022 THE DIRECTOR SPEAKS I asked the director of "Silly Old Buggers" in New Zealand for permission to use the following quote from her email to me on my agent's website as well as this page and she has said she's very happy for me to do so. Here it is: "I directed 'Silly Old Buggers' which was a howling success and we regretted not putting it on in the larger theatre. We put it on in our dinner theatre room with a capacity of 90 and it was sold out from the second night of six per...formances, with a waiting list for the final three. The cast had so much fun with it and the audience responded accordingly. It has been nominated for a couple of awards at the Zone 1 Napta awards." Eilean Rawson, Whangarei Theatre Company, New Zealand. (Pretty happy with that! And btw, I've learnt that the correct pronunciation of Whangarei is - phonetically - Fongeray! TRULY!)

15.01.2022 WHY MUST I HAVE A 'PAGE'? I was trying to send links to other people who didn't have a Facebook membership and they complained that couldn't see it without joining. So I've been told that this is what I have to do - so I've done it. And THIS is why I need it and why it has the "How Are Ya?" title & pic up the top there: We are working towards a new season of the cabaret towards the end of this year so need to be able to spread the word. Currently we're planning to do "bespok...e" performances for large groups - social clubs, sporting groups, etc. - of 50 or more people. We're not sure, at this stage, whether there would be enough interest in the town for future performances open to general bookings. We'll see what reaction we get from the group idea first. Here are a few photos from our performances last year - lots of laughs and people having a good time. See more

13.01.2022 Thanks to all who are liking and sharing this page/these posts. The more I get it out there for people (and theatre companies) to read about it, the more likely I am to find someone who wants to do a production! And THAT'S the aim of the exercise! Until I get the Cabaret ready to put out there, I'll use the SOBs Comedy Festival logo as a cover photo.

10.01.2022 THIS IS WHY I'M HERE Putting this page up is primarily a publicity exercise, trying to promote further productions of "Silly Old Buggers" - and in the near future, my new show "How Are Ya?". As I am possibly getting a bigger (or different) audience for this page, I'll have to re-post some information that I already put on my previous site. Those who've seen it all before - please forgive me! So - here's a review of a New Zealand Production which took place in Wharangei, New Zealand, last September, 2015.
