25.01.2022 With Melbourne in lock down again, rest assured we are still up and running here! We are observing the proper social distancing practices required by all staff. We are thinking of all business owners struggling with the restrictions around our great city at this time, with another 6 weeks of Stage 3 isolation restrictions in place. SGI urges that our population pull together during these trying and challenging times so that the restrictions can ultimately relax again and that we can rejoin our other states in Australia.

25.01.2022 It’s been a while since our family were in the factory all at the same time. We are just organising the first orders to be processed today, with one sash going out in the next 24 hours. Our ribbon is being processed as well as our fringe in preparation for our country’s gradual return to business. Our first full production day will be next Monday but we will pace our production over the coming months as we begin to ramp up. Fingers crossed for all of us that our leaders and authorities have got the Covid 19 crisis under control here.

19.01.2022 Our family has been very busy over the Christmas period. There has been little time for rest during the construction of our mezzanine floor. It has been a welcome addition to our business. Our factory floor space is now approaching a similar size to our previous factory in Campbellfield.

17.01.2022 Last Friday, we finally closed the chapter on our poor old, beaten up, burnt out factory in Campbellfield. Since the fire, we had two break ins with only a few items taken. That said, the settlement has been drawn out and complicated. We now look to the future with our new factory in Sunbury. We thank all our customers for sticking with us during our ordeal and look forward to serving you long into the future

Since the time this certificate was presented to our founder Stewart Gillman, no printer currently operating in foil embossed printing or imitation flat screen printing has come anywhere close to the amount of innovations in tooling, machine design or design itself in presentation ribbon articles!

To avoid confusion with our Royal Blue, we have decided to post a comparison between the two shades. Customers please note the differences when ordering and receiving your new articles.

We have wound down our operations in line with government legislation and in line with the rest of the country, doing our part to limit the damage this virus is causing to the economy, your clubs and societies and the health and well-being of our families. 03.01.2022 Due to internal extensions to increase the manufacturing and storage capacity of our new factory in Sunbury next week, we may be experiencing some temporary manufacturing delays for seven days. We kindly request all customers with Christmas period orders to send them in well in advance so we can fulfil your requirements in time. We will be away between the 21st.
