11.01.2022 This is the introduction to a series of lectures which will be uploaded at the rate of One per week. The approach is holistic. The author does not advocate any diet or product as Healthy living will result in weight loss. The lectures will discuss ALL aspects of weight loss - including psychological, social, historical reasons for weight gain, medical, surgical etc and the economics of weight loss. It is actually cheaper to lose weight by living healthy than by going on any diet. Last but not least weight lost through dieting comes back on but if you change to a healthy living style then the weight will keep off. There are many adverse health issues when one is obese. These will get better with healthy living and you will be more productive as you will breathe and walk better.
