17.01.2022 Monty’s 11 years old & he and his Dad are inseparable, he’s a one man cat, regal & distinguished!! This is a 27 x 27cm oil pastel portrait, finished sized framed 35 x 35cm. He was a great cat to paint...lots of attitude.

16.01.2022 Missy Jack Russell, Oil Pastel. Missy was a sweet, fun loving beautiful little girl. She knew when her Mum was upset and would always look after her. Even at the end her Mum found out that she had hidden a lung disease from her for possibly years. She had no symptoms and was diagnosed at 3:10pm and died that night. The only sign she showed, was panting more than usual which is why she took her to the vet. Missy knew how hard it was going to be for her Mum to say goodbye so she did it all very quickly. Missy will be so sadly missed

04.01.2022 Winnie Piper & Max Oil Pastel 57cm x 77cm framed. This painting was quite a challenge creating a pleasing composition to show case the three doggies. It took quite a few sketches before I was totally happy with the final positioning.

03.01.2022 Buddy Spoodle, 45 x 45cm Framed Oil Pastel. A fun loving Melbourne lad, full of mischief & the most openly loving dog on the planet!! He spent the first 2 1/2 years of his life cooped up in a small apartment, no doggy door & by himself for 18 hours a day, it took his previous owners that long to realize that this was not a good environment for him. He was a very lucky boy to get a new loving home for the rest of his lifetime.

03.01.2022 Hunter & Chelsea Hunter the Doberman, a handsome chap but quite nervous of people, sudden noises & thunderstorms, once he knows you, he considers himself as a lapdog and trys to climb on your lap!! Chelsea the eternal pup....originally a stray Staffy found dumped on the road, is always ready for a game, giving you a bit Staffy smile and lots of love and kisses. Both dogs were a pleasure to paint, with not being able to meet them, even though I have visuals, their stories are an enormous help, it enables me to capture their personalities and to convey that in my Pastels.

03.01.2022 Lucy The Tuna Fish Queen!! Living a very long and loving life spanning over 2 decades. Oil Pastel 33 x 33cm, she was a happy cat to paint.

01.01.2022 Duke a Legend of a dog!! Each Pastel commission is very special, unfortunately 90% of my work are pets that have passed. Duke a Bernese Mountain dog who lived in Falls Creek, was taken at an early age by an aggressive cancer. His Mum had rivers of tears, he was such an immensely loved dog. Each painting session with Duke I had tears!!
