21.01.2022 This is why I dont bother with billet input shaft upgrades in ZF6HP26 transmissions. To do a 6R80 conversion costs the same amount and weve never had a single input failure. In the new year we will be doing some testing of our transbrake standalone modules for the 6HP26. These modules require no run-in period either. So its wire up and straight to the track.

19.01.2022 Update: Since my operation I have been trying to my best to not come back to work too soon. 17.01.2022 Its been a while since I posted. So heres a powerglide for an RB. We used a JW transmission case and modified an adaptor to fit a 4n71b bellhousing. We did this so that tailshaft lengths and crossmembers could be retained when upgrading to an aftermarket case. This transmission had been built previously but certainly wasnt up to the task of reeling off 7 second passs. A few fixes and some upgrades and itll be sweet now. Along with a Hughes Performance 2 stage converter dump to make getting it up on the converter easier.

15.01.2022 Must be powerglide week. One Barra one RB26 and one turbo LS all by Wednesday. All transbraked NASA shafts and billet drums. Now to start on some TH400s that are waiting patiently to be modified. #aussiebuilt

13.01.2022 Here’s a bit of a tech tip. Never use a lose 3 piece bearing in any transmissions. When the drum spins it turns the top into a little buzz saw that cuts a nice neat groove in the back of the pump. Note the bearings we use can’t do it.

Im waiting on surgery at the moment and dont have any idea on when that will be. I am still finishing jobs I have in at the moment but its just taking time. I will no longer be offering torque converter repairs or builds for most jobs just because I physically cannot work on the lathe for that long. 07.01.2022 Edit: SOLD. We have an 850whp th400 full conversion for an FG Barra that will be for sale. Everything from converter bolts to tailshaft. We will be making it available as of Monday. So if anyone is interested please let us know. This whole setup will be $12,300. That’s everything you need to convert your FG. B&M shifter the lot. We are taking a loss at this and just want to recoup what is owed.

06.01.2022 Really liking the new Hughes Performance converter dumps. This one is for a very serious GTR that is currently getting some upgrades. Will be great to see how the Emtron can control it. #emtron #gtr #efi

06.01.2022 Thought it was time to get something happening on the racecar. So we entrusted CRG Turbo Manifolds with the job of making a very large turbo fit in an engine bay that really shouldnt have one in it. If anyone wants top notch work, make sure you talk to the guys at CRG their work is a thing of beauty.
