24.01.2022 Freshly oiled Silvertop ash with powdercoated galvanised steel posts.. Here to last the this one!! Cant beat steel fence posts for strength and rigidity ....

24.01.2022 Love this space.. Heaps of natural light, cafe style blinds at each end and 3.5 metre roof height get out and enjoy this weather!!

23.01.2022 We are loving working with a lot of Cypress lately #arbour #decking

23.01.2022 Reclaimed cypress batterns and galvanised 100mm steel privacy screen we did a few yrs ago.. Still looking great, loving the filtered light

22.01.2022 Before and after on our garage makeover at the Triangle project.. Gone for a barndoor/gate look with polished steel framework, Grey gum vertical cladding and a cypress border.. All steel fabrication was done in house at Gimme Shelter

22.01.2022 A little art studio we recently completed in Pt Lonsdale lots of natural light for our client to get creative

20.01.2022 Timber carport finished in Ocean Grove.. Blends in nicely

20.01.2022 This one took some muscle... huge 200 x200 posts.. Builder and client stoked

20.01.2022 Spotted gum bar/brace love using the structural integrity of welded steel with beautiful Aussie Hardwood, balustrade is now super rigid, happy days

20.01.2022 Thank you to our clients for letting us create this... welded SHS and spotted gum providing some filtered light to west facing windows galvanised mesh fitted for some greenery to climb on

20.01.2022 makeover at Sam and Amelias.. Blended some reclaimed iron bark into the balustrade as a neat little bar top, awesome spot to watch the sun go down over the bay

20.01.2022 Some poor old Oregon bearers on this balcony have suffered after being exposed for 30 plus yrs with ocean views... Our client was very very lucky as closer inspected this huge beam, 6 meters in the air was hanging on by only 5 or 10mm of decent timber, we replaced what was needed and then covered over the timber with colorbond flashings to keep that salty damp away.. The scissor lift handled the tricky terrain with ease.. Please if you have exposed Oregon beams open to the weather we strongly suggest you closely inspect them before it topples down

17.01.2022 Super fun little project !! Measure 46 times, cut once, thank you to our wonderful clients for this job, was very satisfying

17.01.2022 We love little projects for rainy days.. Heres my take on a coffee table with a wine cooling box.. Although I cant argue it works far better as a mini planter box

14.01.2022 a neat little privacy screen completed in Point Lonsdale with a hidden steel framed access door and welded hinges to avoid any movement under the weight of the cypress

12.01.2022 A few tricky little cuts on this weekends project.. Will come up a treat with a lick of paint

12.01.2022 Biscuit joining some ply mitres for some floating shelves.. Super addictive matching up the layers in the mitre.. Also found my Pas old Hammer the late Kenny Holland, (k.H) on the handle!! Love it

10.01.2022 Great variety of jobs over the past month or so.. Decking, stairs, balustrading, verandahs and some metal fabrication

09.01.2022 Looking forward to handling some bigger projects now with the new trailer.. 12x5 feet, Fully galvanised with a hydraulic tipper

08.01.2022 Big Gable roof Veranda completed in St Leonard.. Colorbond steel frame work and Flatdeck roofing.. Ideal for long spans , an uncluttered ceiling While still allowing plenty of light reflection... And maintenance free!!

07.01.2022 Barwon Heads decking completed today.. Time to kick the feet up.. (Brickwork not associated with us and to be rendered)

06.01.2022 Glass balustrade up and looking the goods! Love the Stainless fittings and handrail

04.01.2022 Cracking day at our project on The Avenue. Cypress decking laid, heaps of character! Glass balustrade to come, because we wouldnt want to spoil that view

03.01.2022 Very fancy new door at our favourite (very ongoing) project. The progress pics are keeping the motivation high.. The inside is coming along nicely with a new kitchen, new bathroom, new tiles, new carpet, a few flash little features and a general modernise and tidy.. Its true what they say "the chippys house is always last to be finished" the end is in sight

01.01.2022 Converted this little carport into a fully enclosed garage in Pt Lonsdale.. A job we did 2 years ago. Its a great feeling going back to clients for more projects

01.01.2022 Wet weather days are for welding Have been really keen to get stuck into this one. A client had an exisiting wall/ balustrade on a 2nd story balcony that urgently needed to be stiffened up.. So what we have here is a 3.6 meter brace, disguised as a bar top.. Win win!! Off to the powdercoaters tomorrow, it will be matte Black with a spotted gum infill... Watch this space

01.01.2022 A favourite of ours from 2018.. Some interesting angles, huge spans, loads of uncluttered roof space and heaps of natural light. Insulated solarspan roofing on top of colorbond steel framework. Maintenance free and built to last
