23.01.2022 Dear RC community, Following our post from March 2020 and the questions asked after that message here is an update regarding the IFMAR events for 2021. The cu...rrent situation with COVID has made us decide to postpone the 2020 program to 2021. The organizers of the 1/8th IC Off-Road, 1/10th IC Touringcars and 1/10th Electric ISTC will be asked to give new dates, more or less in the same period as what was planned for 2020. The events originally planned for 2021 will move to 2022 etc. This is to avoid too many events in one year. The only exception may be the Large scale event, which could still be hold in 2021 (USA). Although racing is starting in various countries again there are limitations on the number of drivers/mechanics allowed and a number of precautions like distance in the pit and/or on the rostrum and the use of face-mask is sometimes needed. Running an IFMAR event with 150 drivers might give a total of 400-450 people on a small area. This will not be easy to realize with some of those limitations. At the end of this year we will update you again. There is still a possibility that we may need to change things by December 2020. It is not only the medical part that COVID brings, but travel restrictions and mandatory Quarantine that are valid for a large number of countries at the moment are also part of the decision how and when exactly to proceed with our events. On behalf of the IFMAR committee.

23.01.2022 Have rung council restrictions for venues still in place and they will advise by media when they change. Hope all rc members are well. Cheers Barbara

17.01.2022 All, an update for you all. As promised, the executive have met and discussed the overall stance of RCRA and sanctioned events with respect to government advice.... Due to the inability for ALL racers across the country to practice, to attend their clubs and attend events sadly our advice of all sanctioned events being on hold until June 30 still stands. All IFMAR events, including the IC 1/10th worlds in Brisbane, are still indefinitely delayed. We are hopeful that regular club racing can get back to normal at some stage this year for all racers and once this occurs we can review the national calendar. We remind you that we all have a responsibility to do our part with regards to stopping the spread and we must adhere to government advice as a minimum. This week has seen a number of state and territory governments relax restrictions regarding social gathering - this is wonderful, welcomed news. Numerous locations are now allowing up to 10people to gather in social and non-contact sporting situations. Social distancing of 1.5m spacing and 4sqm per person in covered areas still applies in all instances however. This means *some* clubs will be able to open their tracks for practice days. It will of course depend on individual club circumstances, government advice and council rules. We encourage clubs that would like to open their tracks to seek guidance locally and also adhere to the guidance provided in the attached statement. https://drive.google.com//1KYF8v5r09NUJ3PyJgzbBKBGWON/view

14.01.2022 Track will be open for practice from 12:30 to 1:30 tomorrow, first half hour will be run in normal direction and last half hour will be run in reverse. The timer will be set to 5mins practice with 1 min change over to allow everyone a chance to practice. maximum of 5 on stand at any one time and after the 5 mins please give the other drivers a go Quick drivers brief around 1:45 and will get one of the Logan guys to flip a coin to choose which direction to run for the first ro...und. After the first round the first final will be run in the opposite direction as well as the last final round. The 2nd final will be run in the direction of the Qualifying round e.g. qualifier is run in the normal direction, first final and 3rd final will be run in reverse with the 2nd final in normal direction. Understand there will be some confusion but is something different to spice up the meet Reminder the committee has asked not to arrive before 12PM to allow them to get everything covid safe etc. Also if you are unwell and have any symptoms of covid please stay home For everyone who are travelling up, safe travels and will see you all tomorrow. The top gate will be opened from 12PM to drive down to unload your gear and park. Before setting up please sign in at the table just inside the single door which is the entry into the club house. There will be a sheet with a QR code you can use to sign in with or a sign on sheet on the table. Exit will be via the roller door

13.01.2022 Please reserve spot for yourself and your pit man if you are bringing one.

13.01.2022 anyone wishing to attend practice meet today please reply as there is a 20 person limit and names need to be added to list

12.01.2022 Barb will be contacting the council in regards to where they stand with stage 1 of restrictions as there have been posts from the brisbane clubs where they are ...splitting the days into sessions with max of 10 per session with a break between sessions to wipe everything down etc ready for following session. With our size of drivers stand there would be at max 3 on the stand for the 1.5metre rule and also inside the 4 metre rule will apply. Once Barb speaks to the council to see if we are allowed to run we will let all know and will most likely be practice sessions. Hopefully after stage 2 we can get back into racing of some form as still need to adhere to the 1.5 metre rule on stand and 4 metre rule inside building or under gazebo understand everyones frustration but council will have the final say about us going down but hopefully they will allow us to hold sessions with group of 10 for practice

07.01.2022 Please keep eye out on our pages for when we get the Ok to start racing again. Currently we are still not allowed to run events or have get togethers at the track. Hopefully if things go well and infections are still low then council will give us the go ahead which i say we will still need to do the social distancing inside club house and on stand. Events we had planned will need to be looked at and see when we can fit them in i.e. bundy cup and interclub. Hope everyone has been safe during this lockdown and hopefully sometime soon we will all be able to start doing some racing again

06.01.2022 Been onto council and they are discussing venues today and i will or should have something by end if week what is in place for us. Cheers Barb.

03.01.2022 Big thank you to Jeremy McAuley, Glen Scott and Rhys McAuley for blowing the track down and spraying couple of tanks of sugar down. Also can now fit 6 on the stand where the black tape is situated on the handrails and on the floor (ignore the white crosses on the stand floor) Also a big shout out goes to Barb McAuley and Karen Thompson for cleaning down the benches and the floors. The work the council had got done had put concrete dust from one end of the club house down to t...he kitchen area. Grid listings are now up on the following link: https://bundyrccc.liverc.com/results/ Please check your transponder numbers There will be a table situated outside the single door for everyone to sign in before entering inside the club house, entry is through the single door, exit is via the roller door. There will also be a bottle of sanitizer on the table for all drivers to use before going up on the drivers stand. Please ensure hands are sanitized before going up onto the stand There will be cold drinks and hot food available which the ladies will come around mid to late afternoon to take your orders. Menu will be advised at the drivers brief. Safe travels to everyone driving up
