22.01.2022 It is Mothers day in May, and as part of my project to get mums in front of the camera - I have decided to GIVE AWAY a family photography session to celebrate Mums. The shoot will take place locally (within 5km of Mount Eliza) the winner will recieve a 30 minute shoot and a minimum of 15 fully edited digital images. 21.01.2022 At the weekend I spent time hanging out with these three gorgeous girls, taking photographs of their new arrival, A bouncing baby boy named Nate! I want to share this photo here as it was Nates big sister that really captured my heart.This little girl has a beautiful soul, she held her new baby brother and wrapped him up in love, she whispered softly in his ear and rocked him gently when he cried. Was such a pleasure to meet you young Ava - keep being amazing.

19.01.2022 What is a lifestyle photography session? It is a much more relaxed style of shoot, that normally takes place in your home. The aim is to capture your family in a more natural environment, so less of the uncomfortable poses and more laughter and fun! i have just finished editing this gallery from a few weeks ago.... to everyone still waiting on your galleries - I thank you for your patience, I am working really hard behind the scenes to get your images ready! 18.01.2022 I came away from my family lifestyle shoot this morning with hundreds of images stored in my camera and a big smile on my face. I was welcomed into the White familys beautiful weatherboard home in Mornington where I started to take photos of them in their space and was overwhelmed by the obvious connection they shared with each other. If I had to use one word to sum up their home and their family dynamic it would be - Love. Over the course of my time in their house I heard t...hem tell each other they loved each other many times, It came naturally and it came easily, It flowed out of them. "I love you mummy" as the youngest son jumped into mums lap for a cuddle. "I love you, beautiful boys" was a phrase that echoed around the walls as dad spoke to his sons. Three young boys and two large dogs makes for a busy, chaotic home and their house is filled with noise and laughter and movement - but all of that hustle and bustle is wrapped up in a calm and soothing blanket of love. Unconditional and deep. It was a pleasure to be a part of their lives, and to take photos of that moment in time. I hope that they love the photographs as much as I loved taking them. 18.01.2022 These photographs were taken a few days after my friend had been diagnosed with cancer. Before she started intensive treatment we got together for a photo shoot at her home in Mount Eliza. I wanted to capture her with her husband and all her children (she has many of the beautiful beings) .... on the brink of fighting her cancer - this was the calm before the storm, this was the end of life as she knew it, this was a moment in her journey. In this wonderful thing we call lif...e - this is her - surrounded by love and laughter . The family have since moved to a farm and life has once again moved into the next chapter. I hope that these photos are memories that they will treasure. Images that document that time of their life. My beautiful friend Brigitte and her awesome family! 17.01.2022 6 weeks ago my husband and I welcomed this little person into the world... so I have been missing in action on the photography front! I will be back at work in the new year (I am currently spending all my days snuggling my new arrival). To all the beautiful people that have contacted me recently about wedding/engagement/family photography - I will be back in touch with you all soon. 11.01.2022 Its the summer holidays and we are enjoying our downtime, waking up late, staying in pajamas till noon, hanging out together, having no time constraints - really enjoying our time.... today we spent over an hour chatting and playing in my big bed! Was a happy day :)

11.01.2022 One day he will be all grown up, and he will no longer be able to jump into her arms and fit so neatly into her lap... he will only be this little for so long. When that time comes and he is grown, I hope that this photograph is still around and that this mum looks at it and smiles and remembers... remembers the noise and the movement, remembers the laughter and the tears, the sleepless nights and the early mornings, the scratched knees and the sticky fingerprints. I hope t...hat she looks at this image and remembers that she gave it her all, and that she did it all with love - abundant love. I hope that she remembers what it feels like to have a little person leap into your lap and whisper "i love you mummy" before flinging his arms around your neck. I hope that she remembers that she was able to scoop him up and love him and love him and love him with all of her being. I hope that this photograph/memory stays with you for a lifetime my friend - as i think it really captures you right now - in the thick of motherhood. Dont ever forget these fleeting moments. 08.01.2022 Today my friend Brigitte hosted a morning tea at her farm - It was a morning filled with a Donkey, a Unicorn and cakes and coffee galore! What a Wonderful morning.
