25.01.2022 Gooday family and friends. . I had a lengthy visit at the Murwillumbah RMS yesterday..with an awesome outcome. . (Long story..but in the end, just like in the "...Golden Books" of yesteryear. .they all lived happily ever after)... Well I saw local guitar virtuoso (and "burger man")...mr burning hands..Kristan Burnnand...waiting for service as well...we got to chat a bit..with him talking in a strange kinda way..kiwi talk..and me listening in australian. .anyway..we both had sucessful outcomes..after farewell comments he returned and gave me a copy of his steaming (straight off the press) album.. My ute is endowed with a great sounding sound system...cd player so for the rest of my trip listened to the work of him..Stephen 'hot lips' Duff..Angus Ferguson..Warwick Porter..Belinda McKenzie and Dominique. T Rado..oh and Mark Hazelett going through 12 great originals... The album is called "At the crossroads "..Burning Hands. I must say..its a damm fine album..great musicianship from all players..great production and real cruizy music to listen to ! Theses guys are great muso's and under the guidance and possible whip from Kristan have made this great album possible.. We are blessed in the northern rivers with some really talented folk..all doing what they do best..and this bunch are from that lot ! Thanks for the great album Kristan.. I have been hearing some amazing music lately..and was toying of going to the "cross roads" to maybe 'cut a deal' with Legbar..seein as how Kristan Burnnand was "At the Crossroads"..I should of asked him where it is.... (Ps..I waited at the crossroads of Lucky lane and Bonanza drive in Billinudgel at midnight one day after a very long day...but it was deserted..so that's ticked off the list ! After teaching Music full time for 4 years in the Northern rivers ...I'm excited to announce.... The 2020 Guitar workshop in Byron Bay.
