14.01.2022 Hello everyone! I am sure today everyone thought of the pool! I just wanted to thank you all for a great season we all had and I am already looking forward to a time when we are able to take part in social and sporting activities. Here are a few impressive numbers and achievements over the past few months of the pool season: ... 137 Enrolments for Swim School and Infant Aquatic lessons 50 + Enrolments in the Swim Squad "Super Seals" 2 Programs for Vacation Swimming Lessons 3 Schools attended Interm Swimming Lessons 7 Swimming Carnivals 24'240 swimmers and visitors for the 2019/2020 season! BIGGEST EVER! Our Swim to Rotto Program attracted many keen swimmers and water walkers. The most laps swam and walked was: 12'450 Stuart Perry 11'622 Beck Foulkes-Taylor 8'720 Jenny Tremlett 6'670 Margaret Gow And many more adults and children! Congratulations to everyone who swam or walked laps through the pool season! Early Morning Swimming proved to be a very popular time slot for swimming laps as well. We hosted 68 mornings over the season. The persons attending the most Early Morning Swims was: 43 x Sue Kerr 39 x Michelle Holland 36 x Karen Okely 33 x Chad Donaldson And Congratulations again to many more keen lap swimmers and water walkers who braved some not so warm mornings! 10.01.2022 GINGIN AQUATIC CENTRE CLOSURE As per the direction of the Prime Minister and the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC), the Gingin Aquatic Centre will be closing its doors from 7pm this evening, 25 March 2020. This concludes the 2019/20 swimming season. We’ve enjoyed a fantastic season with plenty of activities including swimming lessons, a Virtual Swim to Rottnest and more.... Whilst it may have been cut a little short, we look forward to seeing you all again for the 2020/21 swimming season.
