24.01.2022 Tomorrow we celebrate our great achievements for Term 3. Students are able to come in Free Dress, and will participate in the Ninja Dash as part of our Pumped Sport visit.

24.01.2022 Today we held our 2020 Sports Carnival. Congratulations to Fraser House on receiving the championship trophy. More photos to come.

19.01.2022 Congratulations to our Student of the month recipients for March, who have consistently demonstrated our school expectations of being safe, respectful and responsible.

18.01.2022 A reminder for all families that we will be meeting under the school eating area shed tomorrow morning from 9:00 a.m. ready to march at 9:15 a.m. as part of the Anzac Day march. Students are to wear full school uniform, bring a hat and water bottle. It would be wonderful to see as many students as possible representing our school.

17.01.2022 Thank you Byron and Nicole for coming to Gin Gin State School and teaching the traditional 'Bunda' language of our Native animals and culture dancing.

17.01.2022 Gin Gin District Touch Carnival for year 4-6 students is being held at our school tomorrow, Friday the 11th September. A canteen is being operated for participants, please see prices below.



16.01.2022 Thank you Mr Grant Partridge for making our new sign for our Garden of Learning. Our Garden redevelopments are nearly complete.

15.01.2022 Mastermind Day as part of our Hero’s Journey at Tallebudgera Beach Camp. This day is where students who love puzzles and riddles thrive.

15.01.2022 Buzzing Bee's Playgroup will be held at the 'Pirate Ship' this Thursday 1 April.

15.01.2022 Slime spectacular is on today. Make sure your child has clothes to change into afterwards along with a towel. A white or light colored shirt is preferred for the event. Students are able to be in free dress today.

14.01.2022 Our annual sports day carnival will be held this Friday the 18th September. As mentioned in our previous newsletters this a student only event to ensure we follow current COVID-19 guidelines. A sports carnival canteen will be operating on the day, on a reduced menu. Students are able to come dressed in their house colours, however need to ensure clothing is sunsafe. We will endeavour to share this special day through our school Facebook page.

12.01.2022 FRASER WINS CROSS COUNTRY Last Friday we held our annual cross country. Congratulations to all students involved. It was great to see high participation and everyone giving their best. All the best to all students competing in the Gin Gin District Cross Country tomorrow morning.

05.01.2022 Today our school was visited by Leanne from Bundaberg Yoga. This visit was part of Child Protection Week and was made possible by Bundaberg Regional Council’s Micro Grants Program. The sessions held today, for our lower grade students, benefited them by helping them capture their physical, emotional and mental health potential.

05.01.2022 BOOK WEEK This year book week will run a little differently as we still can not have parents on site. Dymocks will provide a range of books and students will come to the library with their class to peruse the books. During this time students will be provided with a catalogue of available books to create their wish list. Students will then bring home their list and you can choose to order books and either send in cash in an envelope or transfer the money to the school bank account with the reference BFAIR. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs Paton, Librarian, on 4133 2333.

04.01.2022 Rewards day - Tuesday 8th December. All classes will be spending some time at the pool throughout the day. (No cost) Students are to bring their swimmers and towel for this activity. Our P and C association will be providing a sausage sizzle on the day. Students are able to come in free dress for the day.

03.01.2022 Today marks the final cleaning shift for one of our cleaners - Mrs Karen Hayes. Thank you for all of your hard work and commitment to our school over the last 30 years.

03.01.2022 TERM 2 INTERSCHOOL SPORT Yesterday our year 5 & 6 students participated in the Bundaberg Interschool sports competition. Our Girls competed in the Netball competition and our Boys in the Soccer Competition. It was fantastic to see many smiling faces and great sportsmanship.

01.01.2022 Last Friday our school hosted the Gin Gin District Cross Country. Congratulations to all students who represented our school. Successful students have now been selected to represent the Gin Gin district at the upcoming Bundaberg Zone Cross Country on Friday the 14th of May.
