21.01.2022 On Tuesday night, Little Athletics ACT, in conjunction with Athletics ACT and the ACT Para-Athletics Talent squad held the first of our education forums around ...All Abilities athletics. This one targeted specifically for our clubs and centres. We were lucky enough to have Australian Alpine Skier, Mitch Gourley, join us as a special guest to reminisce on his journey from Little Athlete to World Para Champion, and his experiences in a wide range of sports was a really valuable resource for all our club representatives!

We had a fabulous turn out of athletes, phenomenal volunteers working hard to help and support and the sun shining all morning. A very special thank you goes out to Matt Wade from Athletics ACT who spent the morning sharing his exceptional technical knowledge, and expertise helping and supporting athletes and parents. Working specifically with children aged 3 5, Ginninderra's Tiny Tots program has been designed to do just that and to help nurture a love of physical activity that will last a lifetime. Additionally, weather warnings for the weekend have been release by ACT Emergency Services Agency. Stay warm, safe and enjoy a sleep in. 06.01.2022 Inclusion is pro-active behaviours, options and actions to make people feel welcome, respected and that they belong. Inclusion is something we hold close at Ginninderra Athletics Club and something that is a responsibility of each and every one of us. Excitingly, it is wonderful to see in the attached photos so many club members including other, supporting their team mates and cheering each other on.

04.01.2022 Weather this weekend.... Watch this space. Unfortunately this weekend is predicted to have more rain than last weekend. We are watching closely and hoping for sun but it isn’t looking likely. A final decision as to whether to run tomorrow will be made and posted here at 7am. Watch this space.

04.01.2022 The sun delivered today and we were able to successfully run our first official meet of the season. Thank you to all that came out and helped, participated and supported our club today. As you can see from the photos there were many smiles of joy from today.

02.01.2022 It’s Christmas...don’t miss out on our Twilight event tonight (our last meet until 9th January’s). Join us for a great program, lots of fun, festivities, family, fitness and friendship.
