25.01.2022 Got another MULE today!!! Albeit a King and Country model in 1/30 scale... It’s a Vietnam era mule with an American Marine operating it... but I bought a couple of Aussie M113 riders to sit on the mule to give it that Aussie touch! Love the King and Country models... this will sit nicely next to my Aussie Vietnam Battle of Long Tan M113. Looking forward to when my 2 Land Rovers arrive to join my collection.... Cheers See more

15.01.2022 Gotta love NOS parts! New pull starter for the mule as the other one was totally seized... One thing that’s great about the mule is the parts are plentiful and so cheap! This was $35USD...like anything posted to Australia it’s the shipping costs that’s the killer, $73USD!!! Slowly getting there, she goes with a push start but wanted to fix this anyway, later will bring in a full electric start kit from the states.... Who knows? Once Robin finishes the jeep he might have a mule to tackle! See more

15.01.2022 Hi all... Hope you are all keeping well? Nothing new really to report on the Jeep at the moment. Robin is still picking away at all the smaller tedious jobs but is also inundated with other work at Mawson Motors including another jeep restoration...and that suits me fine as I’ve officially run out of room in the factory! I’ve recently added a couple of ex army motorbikes to my collection and they have taken up the last 5 feet of spare room I had till I sought the place out!!!

05.01.2022 I think I need to change the name of this page to reflect my other interest I have in military vehicles and equipment etc, might even throw a few posts in of my models and trains? What do you guys think??? Also just added these two ex army bikes to the collection. The Yamaha XT600 (front) was the first bike I rode and got my army bike license on, the DRZ400 is a later bike we had, this DRZ400 comes with its complete SASR History.

02.01.2022 I really need to get my one out and give it a run!!!
