16.01.2022 West Winds Cutlass a beautifully aromatic gin with a unique Australian character. It combines traditional juniper alongside some uniquely Australian elements like cinnamon myrtle and Australian bush tomato. The introduction of Australian bush tomato pairs up with an increase in coriander seed to produce a headstrong but still delicate & extremely well balanced gin. @thewestwindsgin

15.01.2022 We’re always super impressed with the local Aussie distillers, who not only make great tasting gins, but do so from scratch, starting with distilling their own base spirit. The crew from @littlelondistillingco does both masterfully, making their own base spirit using Australian malted barley and good old fashioned Melbourne water, which gives their gins a unique and very sippable flavour. Plus, we just can’t stop looking at those sexy bottles!!! Who else has got the bets on them making next year’s countdown?!?

10.01.2022 We love all of our abundant indigenous gin botanicals, but every now & then, we crave a little oriental twist...such as @bassandflinders’ Monsoon Gin! It is a refreshingly exotic tipple, a smooth dry gin infused with South East Asian botanicals such as lemongrass, ginger and ginseng the Monsoon season is celebrated in this elegant spirit. One of our all time favorites when it comes to not-so-traditional gins!

04.01.2022 When in need of a remedy...gin is the answer! Remedy Gin from @reedandcodistillery is as much about the spirit of the landscape from which it’s derived, as it is the experience of the finished spirit itself by using actual pine needles from the region in the botanical mix. The distilled wild and native botanicals result in a distinctively Australian Gin. Pronounced juniper and eucalyptus, pine and mountain pepper is followed by a rounded finish of green tea, shiso and honey. Good for the list of the top Aussie gins? We sure think so! #remedygin

02.01.2022 They may still be relative newcomers to the Aussie gin scene, but the crew from @amblesidedistillers mean business! Using the traditional method of single run vapour infused distillation to craft their amazing spirits, they manage to capture the essence of local South Australian produce - some of the finest botanicals our country has to offer. If you haven’t tried any of their range yet, do yourself a favor & head down to their website to get a bottle! ... #amblesidegin #southaustralia
