25.01.2022 1990 Nationals Archerville Kartway Tasmania 200 Super Final
24.01.2022 IMPORTANT MESSAGE. Morning Karters, if you are attending our club day this weekend, KA requires you to fill out a Covid-19 travel register form. It only takes 30 seconds to complete and needs to be completed by Wednesday. This needs to be filled out regardless whether you have traveled overseas or not. Simply click on the link below. We appreciate your help in this frustrating time.... http://emarketer.seventhvision.com.au/t/r-l-jhdysjt-udjlll/
24.01.2022 Afternoon Karters. Unfortunately we have to share some terrible news, it was discovered this morning that the clubs scales shed and first aid room have been broken into. The thieves have taken 2 first aid kits, our set of radios and our KA testing equipment.... If you see any of these for sale online or have noticed anything suspicious in the recent few days please contact the club or Morwell Police. Also please share this post, we need this equipment to operate and it is a financial blow to the club to replace it.
24.01.2022 The Track is Open This Sunday for a Social Karting Day 10am to 5pm Turn up on the day and fill in QR code no trybooking required. Social distancing rules apply... Hope to see you at the track Sunday See more

22.01.2022 2021 will be here before we know it, so if you’re looking at going to new tracks, spending time with mates and meeting new people, consider competing in the Golden Power Series!
22.01.2022 Thanks to all who had input in supporting and attending our club over the 2020 race year. We’d like to thank and acknowledge all the work of the outgoing office bearers; whose work behind the scenes allowed us to safely get back to the track while adhering to all the COVID regulations for the last two club days. It was a great way to finish the year and see so many coming out to race at our club. Earlier this month the Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held and it was great to see so many people willing to take up a position as an office bearer. Please remember, you don’t have to hold a position to help out on a once off or a regular basis. We look forward to getting back to the track in 2021 and seeing some new and regular faces at the club. Congratulations to the 2021 office bearers

17.01.2022 Good afternoon Karters. Just a quick update at where Gippsland Go Kart Club is at in relation to our next club day. We will not be running a June club day this weekend but the club is working to hopefully hold a club day for July. With restrictions constantly changing and the recent move to tighter restrictions, we will keep you up to date as the last Sunday in July approaches.... Our social Sunday karting sessions will be continuing through July as they have been this month.
16.01.2022 Hello Karters Given current circumstances, the committee has made the difficult decision to cancel our July Club Day. Due to the increasing positive COVID numbers, increasing regional positive COVID count, large number of members and officials in the high risk range, a number of officials and members in lockdown, general concerns from members and volunteers leading to apparent lack of interest from karters, we feel this is the best decision for our club at this time.... Those who have entered, your entry fee will be refunded and for those whos entry fee for this month had been carried over, youll have the option to carry it over again to our next club day. The social karting days we have been holding will likely resume in August, possibly reduced to every second weekend due to the tapering off in interest. Though this is yet to be ratified. While the current environment with COVID makes it very hard to plan for a possible club day in August, holding one still remains the clubs goal. There will be no social karting event this weekend. Thank you to all our members for your patience during this period. Ross Miller President GGKC
15.01.2022 From tomorrow, karts can return to tracks at Clubs who have ticked all of the boxes in the Northern Territory, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia - with C...OVIDSafe requirements and a number of restrictions in place. For the rest of the country, the wait is almost over. Check with your local Club to see if they are open and comply with the COVIDSafe Practice Requirements, or when they expect to be able to be open for their Members. Each Club has different circumstances regarding the use of the facility and complying with the various requirements in this COVID affected world. DO NOT JUST HEAD TO THE TRACK AND EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO SUIT UP. *****Bookings are essential at all Clubs who are open and offering Social Karting for their members.***** Have you booked your spot and are heading the track? If so, stay safe and enjoy your time back on track during the road out of Covid-19.

14.01.2022 While we can not go to the kart track to have fun and create memories at the moment, I thought we might travel back in time a few years to 1989 (I think) to one of our open meetings at Tramway Park Raceway. Quite a bit has changed in the years around the track and the karts. More will be posted in the near future, so enjoy watching and get your karts ready for when we are back on track.
14.01.2022 Spread the word........ We have a kart on display with information about how to get into karting at the Village Cinemas Morwell where the movie GO is screening. Get down to see the movie! Current screenings are daily at 9:30am, 11:40am, 2pm & 6:45pm (check cinema website to confirm times). Thanks to Village Cinema Morwell for supporting this to happen.

10.01.2022 To All Members It has been decided due to current Covid19 restrictions that the 2020 /2021 AGM be postponed until further notice. It is our preference to have a face to face meeting and postponing the meeting may provide that opportunity. Corporate Affairs Victoria have allowed extensions to all associations for the holding of an AGM for the 2020 year, and we will take advantage of that if it means we may be able to meet in person rather than over electronic media.

02.01.2022 COVID-19 VIRUS UPDATE ALL CLUBS Effect on Victorian Competition 17 MARCH 2020 Please see below for important information from Karting Victoria regarding the ...latest response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Circumstances continue to change daily and while we do not intend to overload you with information, we will provide you with updated information related to Karting as and when it is available and needed. Our objectives are to ensure the health and safety of the Karting Victoria Community, while ensuring that the wheels keep spinning for our Clubs during this challenging period. All the decisions outlined below have been made with primary consideration being given to the well-being and safety of all participants in our sport from volunteer officials, canteen staff, to competitors and their families, and spectators. The Karting Victoria Executive has decided that no race meetings will be held in Victoria effective immediately until, June 1, 2020 - This date is subject to change pending the outcome of the crisis situation over the coming weeks. Because the situation with the Covid-19 crisis is fluid we are hopeful that it may be possible to run May Club Day events despite these events being within the moratorium period advised above. Notification of a decision on that will be provided in time for clubs to apply for the necessary permits if that is the decision reached. The upcoming Victorian Kart Championship, Metro Series, the next two rounds of the Victorian Country Series and the next round of the Golden Power Series have all been postponed. Karting Victoria will develop a revised calendar for the remainder of 2020 once the full extent of the affect the COVID-19 crisis is further understood. Karting Victoria is committed to running the Victorian Kart Championship on a suitable date later in the year. It is the intention, that if possible, all rounds of the Victorian Country Series and Golden Power Series are also completed. Achieving this in a shorter period of time will require some significant alteration of events throughout the State and we will aim to minimise as many inconveniences as possible. The Karting Victoria Executive, at the request of Karting Australia, is urgently reviewing the potential to run Kart Fun Sessions during this moratorium period in order to allow participation in this great sport we all enjoy to keep rolling. If this is possible, such sessions will only be allowed to be conducted under very strict guidelines, in order to keep safe the participants, volunteers and spectators. If Kart Fun Sessions can be accommodated, the guidelines imposed MUST be followed to the letter. Regardless of the type and size of the event, the operation of all Clubs and on-track activities must respect and apply the COVID-19 virus control measures advised by Karting Australia on 16 March 2020. Club Members are still able to also complete private practice sessions throughout this time, unless otherwise advised. These are decisions that have not been taken lightly, but we believe they are necessary to reduce exposure to the virus and to keep all of our Victorian Karting Community safe. COVID-19 Updates We cannot stress enough that this is a fluid situation and it is highly likely that over the coming weeks and months there will be a reasonably significant number of communiqus from us, or Karting Australia, to the Karting Victoria Community. Most, if not all of them, will come via email. Please make sure that your email program is set so that our emails come into your inbox and not your junk mail. I said earlier that we will only send the important messages. Please, if you get a COVID-19 email from Karting Victoria, take the time to read it as it will be important! Lets All Do Our Part We are currently facing a global health crisis and we require everyone to do their part and to not take unnecessary risks. If we all do our part, and dont take any shortcuts, then the chances of our sport, and indeed the whole community, riding out this crisis ought to increase significantly.
