15.01.2022 Thanks for people sending through copies of your resume's, We are a bit quite at the moment, so don’t have a great deal going on. I have noted that a lot of peoples stated qualifications are in accordance with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A. These qualifications are in house generated by the company you are currently working for and are not transferable to other places of employment.... I would strongly encourage you if you wish to further your career in NDT to get independent certification in accordance with a certification scheme based on ISO 9712 or equivelent, with certifications being issued by a central certification agency. 07.01.2022 Sorry everybody that's asking if we have any positions available at the moment. The sad truth is no. If we did I would re-employ the two employees I've had to let go before Christmas. If things do pick up you would need to have at a minimum ISO 9712 level 2 accreditation. If you have snt-tc-1a certs you are wasting everybody's time. They are not worth the paper they are printed on and they are only relevant to the employer who has issued them.

03.01.2022 Recent correspondence from NATA: NATA would like to draw to your attention to a recent a press release from BINDT regarding PCN certificate withdrawal. This affects any certificate issued on the basis of training and examination provided by NDT International (a qualifying body formerly recognised by PCN). http://www.bindt.org/Certification/pcn-news/... Affected examination locations include (but are not limited to) Singapore, Chennai, Trichy, Cochin, Visag, Mumbai and Kolkata. To verify the location at which an examination has been conducted, refer to the PCN results notice which will state the location information. It is recommended that you review any PCN certificates utilised within your company to ascertain if action may be warranted.
