16.01.2022 Cayugas are an American duck breed notable for their black and iridescent green colour. I started with 4 but they have been prolific breeders and now I have quite a few Cayugas and crosses with Pekins (these crosses can be grey or black and white). The black feathers still show up somewhat after processing - but they're a tasty duck nonetheless.

07.01.2022 We're having a break for a while. Ducks are hanging out, eating grass and weeds and demanding wheat and other treats. They're starting to get frisky and thinking about laying eggs again - when the numbers go up, the incubators will go on and there'll be ducklings again.
