21.01.2022 Raffle Night is done and dusted for another week. Did you come down? If not, you missed out on some great prizes, cheap drinks and lots of banter. Key messages ...from the night: > The planned trip to Mirboo North Bowls Club on Monday (11/01) has been cancelled in light of changing Covid circumstances. > Thanks to all the volunteers who've helped Greg (Sepho) Sephton in fixing up Smokey's Shack. > Bingo is back on the agenda - and we are close to getting it back up and running. Anyone willing to volunteer on Tuesday Nights, please reach out to Sue Robinson. > Corporate Bowls returns from Wednesday 3 February. It will run for 6 weeks, then finals. Volunteers are required - please contact Heather Taylor. > Club Mixed Pairs will begin on Thursday 28 January. Please add your name to the tournament sign-up sheet. > Due to low entry numbers, there's been a format change for the Club 4's. A new entry sheet will be posted soon, so please get a group together. > Punters Club - a reminder for those who've signed up to make payment to Ian Riley and monitor the punter's sheet for your week to punt. > The Ned Kelly statue that has been keeping us company at the club for the past year or so has been sold! > Greens are open for social bowls tomorrow (09/01) from 1pm. If enough bowlers come down, we can arrange some matches. > Barefoot Bowls (& Booze) is on this Sunday (10/01) from 1pm to 5pm. Bring down a few friends and introduce them to our great game! And the sad news.........Bar prices will sadly be going up from next week. :( Prices have been static for close to 2 years, so I guess we can't complain too much about it! Have a great weekend, and we hope to see you on the greens. #trafalgarbowlsclub
