After seven years Michael Derrick has decided its time for a change and a new team, owned by Stuart Smith and managed by Angela Lauria are now in the cheese room. 20.01.2022 Were excited to announce the addition of the fabulous white mould cheese range from Apostle Whey Cheese. Weve greatly enjoyed working with Julian & Dianne Benson and look forward to getting this great range out there for all to enjoy! In our range is their award winning mini Brie (Southern Briez), mini Camembert (Loch Ard Gorgeous) and the delicate and full flavoured Washed Rind (The Grotto). Coming to a store near you, as well as via our website www.gippslandcheese.com.au.

16.01.2022 Sad news that Jindi Lactalis have decided to close production of Old Telegraph Road Jacksons Track, Camembert and Fire Engine Red. Particularly the washed rinded cheeses will be sorely missed! Weve some of the last production stock left of these iconic cheeses. Come in and get them before they (literally!) disappear - 03 5622 3887.

Congratulations to Prom Country Cheese for taking out Gold for Kongwak and Silver for Cheviot in the Semi-hard sheep cheese category and Silver for Venus Blue for the Sheeps Blue category, at the Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards. 04.01.2022 At the Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards function on Monday night we were thrilled to receive Champion Blue Cheese of show with our Oak Blue! This is a back to back award for our company. We celebrated at the Cocktail Party and sampled our Oak Blue that was served with Victorias award winning champion produce.
