The photographs illustrate the some of the range of multicultural experiences in school programmes. The festival was a great success. The GECC encourages parents and friends to attend in 2016. 12.01.2022 The 2014 GECC Annual Multicultural Festival in Immigration Park, Morwell was cancelled because of the dense smoke arising from the Morwell Open Cut coal fires. The photographs below show the range of fun activities happening during the GECCs 6th Annual Multicultural Festival on March 17, 2013. Lets all make the celebration of immigrants arrivals in Gippsland be another wonderful success in Immigration Park on September 27, 2015. See you all there soon!!!

12.01.2022 Photos from the Alay Kapya (We Care) event commemorating its 25th Anniversary, in the Morwell Club May 23, 2015 - a very happy night for all attending to enjoy the live band, dancing, entertainment a wonderful dinner and loads of fun. Congratulations!!!

10.01.2022 150422 GECC: Gippsland Interfaith Meeting - Leongatha Library - "Talking Faith"... The three faiths featured were Sikh: Jasbir Singh Suropada; Latter Day Saints: Jim Hamilton; Hinduism: Bhakta Dasa. The meeting dealt with the principlal beliefs and nature of each faith. Discussion was very active. The GECC Interfaith meeting was Chaired by J Murray Lobley. Photographs by Graham Dettrick. A big "Thank you" to the Staff of the Library who stayed and were very hospitable.

10.01.2022 On the 27/11/15 GECC held a well-attended Interfaith meeting in Bairnsdale Coordinated by Mr Murray Lobley. Photos follow.

08.01.2022 On 15.06.14 Alay Kapwa held a dinner dance for their 24th Anniversary in the Premier Room, Traralgon. It was a very happy evening full of fun. This Saturday 17.10 15 Alay Kapwa will hold another Dinner Dance Event in the Premier Room. Contact Raquel Waite immediately on 0407 443 274 to make a booking.
