02.01.2022 We are pleased to introduce a new orthopaedic research program in which patients who have hip or knee replacement with us will be provided with a garmin wearable device, which will sync to a custom-built smartphone app and provide us with detailed information as to the patient's activity level but also secondary measures such as sleep quality. We envisage that this greater level of data collection will enable us to fine-tune post op rehab programs to gain the best function f...rom your joint replacement. This will an opt-in program and participation is not compulsory. We plan to collect data for 12 months post joint replacement.
