Newlands Arm is another good spot using peeled prawn and soft plastics. Rivers fishing well, too. 07.01.2022 The Ethereal Lake in the Eagle Point Flora and Fauna Reserve was the highlight of our late afternoon walk. It’s an ethereal lake because it’s not there all year round, but it provides an important environment for animals and plants alike, with fields of wild samphire and pig face. We also learned about bats at the Bat House, and spotted kangaroos scattering through the bushes.
