Also, if youre in the north of melbourne and youd like to play, well, we come in all shapes and sizes, sexualities and playing ability. But we all have buckets of enthusiasm. Please PM if your interested in playing. ... Coburg Superules Football Club in its 27th year is seeking expressions of interest in the role of Womens Senior Masters Coach. In the inaugural Womens Masters season Coburg fielded 38 players ranging in age from 30-60 years with two-thirds participating in Australian Rules Football for the first time. After a successful first year the club is now keen to develop the Womens coaching team headed by a Senior Masters Coach to lead an enthusiastic and growing playing group in 2019. It is quite probable that due expected growth Coburg will field two Womens Masters teams in 2019 and therefore may need to recruit two Womens Masters Coaches. The Coburg Superules Football Club is an inclusive and diverse club that is home to 3 mens teams and 1 womens team and has a strong one club philosophy with mens and womens team having collaborative and respectful relationship. We are seeking a coach that: Is highly adaptable and able to manage all levels and abilities, Has a focus on people and is a strong and effective communicator, Has a female player development focus relating to skills and game style, and Has a willingness to promote football for fun and one club philosophy of Coburg working with the Committee and Coaches. Playing experience is preferred and It is desirable that the applicant has Level 1 AFL coaching accreditation or willingness to obtain one. The club is happy to fund a Level 1 accreditation for the successful applicant. There is also preference for a non-playing Coach. The coaching role involves planning and execution of training, team selection and match day preparation and coaching. Commitment required is training once a week between February and September and play matches on a fortnightly basis over 10 rounds with the potential for finals between April and September. Preseason is February to March. 3-6 hours per week. Coburg offers a supportive environment working and buddying with the mens senior coaches as well as VFL level facilities based out of Coburg City Oval. Remuneration is honorarium / casual based. 14.01.2022 Teleigha Saunders is Signing with Gippy Maroons for the 2019 season. She is a proud Gunaikurnai woman from the Gippsland area. Teleigha has played TAC Cup and AFL Kickstart rep teams. She recently took out the MVP for Fitzroy Stars team at the Victorian Koori Womens Football Carnival, along with Winning the Carnival Premiership and being named on the Carnival Team for 2018. We are excited to have her on board!
