15.01.2022 The one thing we have had a lot of people tell us is that they love our logo. The artist who painted it is Matteo Grilli. After talking to him via email we discovered that he plays the violin! Here is a little about him from his website. "I was born in Italy in 1984. I come from Porto Recanati, Le Marche on the central eastern coast of Italy. I have always been deeply fascinated and attracted by animals and nature, especially birds. Drawing and painting started in my childh...ood, when I spent some time living in the country, spending hours lost in a blissful solitude watching birds with my binoculars. I fell in love with watercolours and bird portraiture after a book by Marjolein Bastin and another book by Louis Agassiz Fuertes. I am a self taught water-colourist and photographer since 1995. Life events eventually brought me to Brisbane, Australia in 2009. Here, my creativity started to pour out thanks to the charming Australian wildlife that lives in a very close contact with humans. In 2012 I opened my online store to share my artworks. In the same year I started a collaboration with Australian publisher Nuovo Group who turned my artworks into greeting cards and bookmarks. From 2014, a selection of my original framed watercolours are displayed in the Coastal Artisans gallery in Peregian Beach, Queensland, Australia. In 2014 I started making my own watercolour paints, a process that I found very rewarding and satisfying. You can find more information on the process on the page above called Handmade Watercolour Paints. Today, the only paints that I am using are my own handmade watercolour paints. My ultimate wish is to pay attention to the beauty of nature and to its fleeting essence and to be able to share it, my work is derived from my own photographs taken while bird watching." Thanks Matteo for the wonderful Blue Fairy Wren!

15.01.2022 Again, thank you for your support. We never imagined that wed get to 100 likes in 2 days. it gives us great confidence moving forward knowing that when our concerts start we will have a large pool of people who are interested in attending. Your attendance and support is important for this to grow. We invisage that this could one day be a much larger organisation that caters for a much more diverse musical line up. We have some questions for you and will be putting up some ...polls in the coming days and weeks. Look out for them as they will help us in our planning. While we are still planing our inaugural concert, which at this point we are very excited about as it should end up being a very special event!, we have already started engaging in conversations for the second concert in the chamber series and the first of the Jazz series. We are seriously excited! In the meantime checkout Andrea Motis Joan Chamorro Quintet & Scott Hamiltons version of Summertime and chill out. #chiilingoutlisteningtosummertimewhiledrinkingtealikeaboss #dontjudgemyhashtaggingskills #firsthashtag #actuallyfourthhashtag #prohashtagging
