24.01.2022 Training Program Week Four: This week is a speed focus for the mid-week sessions before mixing it up next week. Check out the program below or here bit.ly/ump...ireAFL04 As an added activity this week, if you're a field umpire, show us your bouncing practice. We know not all community leagues bounce, but it's one of the most unique skills in sport, and there's no better feeling than a straight bounce. Next week will be your turn boundaries!

23.01.2022 WGJ round 1 review: What an amazing return to football in the new the West Gippsland Junior Division. The season started with a Drouin Maroon v Drouin Gold cl...ash on Friday night under lights in perfect conditions at Bellbird Park. On Saturday it was a return to football at Marist Sion with the Warragul Blues up against Warranor. Sunday games were Colts up against a new opponent in Nar Nar Goon as the WGFNC curtain raiser games at Western Park and in Koo Wee Rup they took on the new junior team Nyora. Overall it was an incredibly successful weekend of junior football with special thanks to the Gippsland Umpires Association for servicing the new junior competition. The GUA have been terrific in supplying and developing new young umpires in the WGJ and we are thrilled to have the professional umpiring group on board for 2021.
