08.01.2022 This Saturday from 10am - 12pm, we will be running our second write-in at the Traralgon library. As a follow up to our first meet-up where we worked on plot, this week we will be working on learning how to pace your story; how to speed it up, slow it down, create tension etc. Alternatively, if you want to work on your own work-in-progress, you’re welcome to come along, meet some other writers, do your own thing and come for coffee at Onyx afterwards. Looking forward to seeing everyone again! Tash (Treasurer, Gippsland Writers Network)

06.01.2022 Writing is often a solitary activity so in order to connect writers through Gippsland, our first write-in will be held at the Traralgon library this Saturday 19 January from 10am - 12pm. This is a chance for you to bring your current WIP, meet other writers in the area and then work along side each other in your individual projects. If you want to stretch yourselves, or are looking for something structured and new, I will have exercises available. If you want to share som...e of your WIP, you may do that at the end of the 2 hours although critique and feedback won’t be a focus. Afterwards, we will be grabbing a quick coffee at a local cafe where we can chat about our work. Feel free to drop in for an hour if that’s all you have spare. Looking forward to meeting some more local writers. Tash (Treasurer, Gippsland Writers Network)
