25.01.2022 What a beautiful tree

25.01.2022 Thank you to all for your well wishers. The latest is that Gipsy Point has had 5 mm drizzle total over the last couple of days and currently there are no fires visible. Weather will start to warm again from tomorrow, but fires will be a bit slower with the slight rainfall.

24.01.2022 RE-OPENING 12 FEBRUARY It is a beautiful morning at Gipsy Point Lakeside as we put the final touches on readying everything for our friends and guests. 23.01.2022 Lucky to come back GP is still as beautiful as it’s always been

22.01.2022 Gipsy Point and Gipsy Point Lakeside has been evacuated as requested by the authorities. All are safe and well. As of date there has been no damage to Gipsy Point Lakeside and Gipsy Point is mostly untouched by the fires - a credit to the efforts of the Gipsy Point community and especially Peter & Amanda and the wonderful Dave!!!... With hot and dry weather and a strong wind change expected on Saturday it may be a few days before we are allowed back to Gipsy Point. The good news is the weather for early next week is cooler and maybe some rain. Please wish all the fire ravaged communities well. Many have had it a lot tougher than us and could also use your support.

18.01.2022 Please note that due to the current bushfire situation, Gipsy Point Lakeside shall be CLOSED for the immediate future. Our property is well prepared for the situation and thus far all is well with the property and most importantly our guests, staff and the other residents of Gipsy Point. However many others around the area have not been so lucky. But we are a strong community and we will get through this.... As the roads are closed and power, communications and other essential infrastructure has been affected by the fires it may take a little while to be ready to receive guests.
