25.01.2022 Top coating begins. Each model has been sanded and primed several times leaving a smooth surface. The Glossy top coat can now be applied.

22.01.2022 Base coats added to models. A very Chocolate and Vanilla looking pair.

20.01.2022 Priming and sanding... Sanding and priming. The most time consuming step of the process to ensure a smooth surface to paint.

20.01.2022 A long time between posts. We have a new project in the early stages, and we have also been busy constructing and fitting the workshop. Well have more to post about on both of those shortly.

20.01.2022 The Groom assembled with regular mini figure for scale.

15.01.2022 Water slide transfers. As they use a laser copier to create, printing white isnt an option. For this, white has to be carefully painted under the transfer matching the edge.

15.01.2022 Bride and Groom extra large Lego Mini-figure commission. Follow the gallery from initial casting to finished and decorated models. The finished figures are around 20 cm tall. More photos coming soon.

12.01.2022 As the year continues and season turns colder construction is well underway of the workshop and gallery. While that continues we have begun to experiment with different branding options for t-shirts. We look forward to showing more in the coming weeks.

11.01.2022 Experimentation continues on 3D printed moulds.

11.01.2022 A while since last post. The Hyoneko models are finally getting their paint jobs. Taking a different approach by trying out acrylic paints with a clear coat finish, instead of using gloss enamel paints (much easier to mix and clean).

09.01.2022 As Spring approaches and construction continues its time to share the progress of the inaugural Giraffe and Elf project. Hyoneko is starting to take shape, with the initial 3D model complete. More progress images to come soon.

03.01.2022 The one that broke the mold. While the current project has made it out safely, unfortunately itll be the last. A combination of cast amounts and silicone ageing means it can forever more be put to rest. More on the completed project soon.
