18.01.2022 What an amazing turn out we had last Thursday with 17 girls coming to Girl Guides VH and trying it out! We played some games outside, sang, did some arts and crafts and made lots of new friends. Thank you to everyone that came and supported us. We are back on tonight at 5pm and we will hopefully be doing a scavenger hunt with our showbags that we will be making and playing some games for a mini Olympics. Hope to see everyone again to have even more fun this week!

16.01.2022 Our activities last Thursday for WAGGGS World Thinking Day This year, it was all about peace We created a peace puzzle & wrote down what we think peace is then worked together to connect the pieces. We then played a few games with shoes (wasn’t too smelly) and demonstrated with pebbles how each action we take creates a ripple effect for everyone around us. Feel free to bring your daughter along for two free sessions at Victor Harbor Guide Hall

13.01.2022 Girl Guides is returning on the 17th of September And will continue until the end of term. It will then restart again beginning of term 4, with hopefully some warmer weather message me if your daughter is interested, you will not regret it! The first two weeks are free (who doesn’t love that!) so your child can discover for herself if she wants to continue with her guiding journey.

10.01.2022 Girl Guides VH is still looking to gain more members to join our new group of girls! Here is a picture from a Christmas theme night last yearEach week is a different theme, catering for special holidays, birthdays, badges or just random days such as International Pancake Day (of course we will be making pancakes (COVID permitted)). Join us to have YOUR say on what themes we should do for the term. As it is a girl-led program, the guides will be deciding the activities for the term with some direction from the leaders.

08.01.2022 Girl guides is back on tonight we will be giving the girls an introduction to guiding and what our promise and law is all about (but don’t worry, there will be games). We are all excited to see you again and to start earning some badges! It will be on the same time as the last few weeks feel free to bring a friend if you want, the more the merrier! See you all soon!
