20.01.2022 We're so delighted that former International President Ruth Chikasa will be hosting our next LEAD//FOLLOW webinar on how to empower the next generation of GB le...aders on 26 June (0700 & 1300 BST.) Ruth brings great passion for the inclusion of young people in mission today and tomorrow. Having started her journey in the Girls’ Brigade at a tender age of 5 in a small town called Chingola in Zambia, Ruth has not looked back since then, rising through the ranks of GB and holding various leadership roles including that of National, Africa Fellowship and International president portfolios. Currently, Ruth is serving as Ambassadorial Patron for GB International. In all her time of service as leader, Ruth believes passionately in the potential of young people and that the leadership of today, should and must tease out and develop that potential for the benefit of the organization as well as the community. In this vein, she believes that leadership development of the next generation of leaders begins with the participation of young people in programme development and their eventual inclusion in GB management. 07.01.2022 GBWA are proud of our Mundaring girls who represented GB in honour of our armed forces at the Mundaring Christian College ANZAC ceremony. Pictured is Alexis and her Dad Phil. Also pictured is Emily Jayne & Bethany from Mundaring who wanted to make sure that we did not forget the ANZACs. They made wreaths and asked that we lay it out at dawn at home. Lest We Forget

They shared intense financial meetings, future planning sessions and fellowship and devotions together. It was a blessed weekend and the presence of Christ was felt by all.
