01.01.2022 Let’s talk Girl Squad.. Raising strong girls is something we all aspire to do. Girls who who are determined, encourage others, empowering them that they can do anything In our group of strong girls we have ........ one who is in her final year of school who works part time teaching kids to swim. She wants to gain early entry to uni to study to be a criminal lawyer whilst pursuing her surfing career hoping to pick up sponsorship one who works part time, is currently competing on the WQS, and is about to commence her first year studying nursing at university one who has changed schools mid way through high school, making new friends and facing the challenges of transitioning schools while training for her passion of surfing, basketball & skateboarding. Along with spending time volunteering at various charities one who is finishing her last year in primary school, A year that will see her quiet nature take on more leadership roles and push herself outside boundaries she is not used to. She will use her determination in her love of sports she plays, netball, athletes, touch football and now surfing to push through new obstacles to overcome these challenges one who enters a new phase of schooling by entering high school. Opening her to new friendships, new challenges that will go with these new beginnings. She starts a new sport in rugby league and continues her passion in playing soccer while continuing her way through surfing one who is mid way through high school and balancing all the challenges that come with being a girl alone. Who’s dream is to be on the WCT one day and spends her days training and surfing to reach this goal along with pushing herself through AFL for fitness and determination. These girls are strong girls and women. We raise and influence girls around us Sport plays an inspiring role in their lives, to drive them, determination, empowerment, teams sports, individual sports, it helps them to grow and learn. We are excited to see what @girlsdayoutwomeninsport brings you this year Thanks girls for being part of @girlsdayoutwomeninsport for mentoring each other and other girls in the community
