25.01.2022 And last but not least - Thank you to our partners for their unwavering support and belief in what we were doing and their ability to make us laugh at ourselves and of course to pick up the pieces at home!

25.01.2022 At the heart of our purpose is helping communities, so it’s always a privilege and pleasure when we get to witness in person who we are helping and providing better access to health services too!

25.01.2022 One of our proudest moments during our Girls Got Heart Journey presenting a $80,000 cheque to @RACQlifeflightrescue! Donations like these ensure that rural Queenslanders get the necessary emergency assistance when they need it most.

23.01.2022 Those #friyay feels! Have a great weekend everyone!

23.01.2022 Success isnt only determined by medals and personal best times. The things we undertake is largely so that we can challenge ourselves and achieve the goals we set out. Its up to YOU to decide when you think youve done enough!

22.01.2022 One of our biggest achievements was funding @HeartofAust Truck 3. This purpose-built, self-sufficient baby truck provides private clinic rooms, a testing room and a reception area for patients. It also specializes in Gynaecological services too, something the previous two trucks did not have capabilities for. It is wheelchair accessible and fully-air-conditioned for comfort. Proud day!!

22.01.2022 Some of our fondest memories will be riding into a new community, meeting the locals and sharing plenty of laughs with the kids!

03.01.2022 **ATTENTION** TRIVIA WINNERS Firstly a MASSIVE, MASSIVE, THANK YOU to everyone who tuned in yesterday for our virtual lunch we hope you had as much fun as we did!!! It was an emotional day for us and we were super happy to share it with all of our wonderful friends, family and the GGH crew and community.....Phew what an action packed 3 years we have had!!... For those of you wondering, below are the answers to our trivia questions and the winners who will all get a t-shirt, cap and water bottle: 1. What was the steep descent that we rode down (in the dark!) on our first GGH training ride in 2017? Answer: Flagstone Creek Road...The ride started in Toowoomba hosted by our Toowoomba team, it was freezing cold and a big group of us drove up from Brisbane for an early start. NB we had to climb up Flaggy at the end of the first day of both the 2017/2019 rides. Winner: Bella Reynolds 2. Who wore a pair of white undies on the final leg of our 2018 ride? (over her GGH kit) Answer: Gail Murphy. The night before Gail climbed straight off the massage table to join the speeches walking around in her best white cotton undies, after such a hilarious reaction from the rest of the girls she decided to put them on for the end of the ride. We all signed them at the end, had them framed and they were auctioned off at a fundraising lunch, raising $500) Winner: Mel Newton 3. What was the original Girls Got Heart tagline? Answer: Doing is living we changed the tag line to With Heart We Ride for Rural Health because we wanted to have a very clear and succinct message around our fundraising goals and our purpose. Winner: Marni Robinson 4. Where do we hold our Hearts on the River annual lunch? (trick question as the name has changed....) Answer: Riverside Receptions now known as Events on Oxlade We have loved using this venue with the beautiful outlook of the Brisbane river so many great memories. Winner: Olay Douglas 5. At what location in Brisbane do we start the rides from? Answer: Brisbane Sailing Club, West End. This was a great venue for us to start the rides from and the BSC committee have been so easy to work with and so accomodating of Girls Got Heart, we are so grateful . Winner: Grace Wallington 6. Where were Keely and Bec when they first had the idea to ride for rural health and The Heart of Australia ? Answer: We were at a fundraising event for the Heart of Australia hosted by Hen and Chubb Attwooll at the property Uralla in Meandarra. What a day!!! History in the making Winner: Sally Watson **CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR WINNERS** We will be posting your prizes later this week.

02.01.2022 An amazing story of Brad and his lifesaving experience with LifeFlight. Dear Girls Got Heart On hearing about your ride to help raise money for RACQ LifeFlight Rescue, I wanted to say thank you. They saved my life in 2014 when a driver of a 35 tonne truck hit us from behind on the Kogan Condamine Road. ... Thankfully, my son was freed quickly however it took them three hours to cut me out of the car. I was in a coma for ten days, in the ICU for 17 more days and in hospital all up for four months. The helicopter doctor and paramedic cared for me at the side of the road and on the flight to the hospital. They told me they nearly lost me 3 times. Without LifeFlight, Id probably be dead. I never expected to need help from the rescue helicopter. Its one of those things you hope you will never need, but its good to know its there if you do. What you are doing is just fantastic. Thank you for helping people in the country who rely on these services. Good luck with the ride. Kind wishes Brad (and Sharon)
