22.01.2022 Adding in another awesome update before we launch: Resource Management. When contributors upload files onto a thread, the files that are uploaded will appear on the resources page, where it will be placed in the appropriate category. ALL uploaded files/resources will be organised within the resource page of the site, according to the subject. CURRENTLY BEING BETA TESTED.

16.01.2022 Now adding in the integrated chat system. We'll try to get the layout similar to Facebook. There will also be chat-rooms for people who'd like to chat with other people in a group.

13.01.2022 PLEASE INFORM ANY GIRRAWEEN HIGH STUDENT ABOUT THIS PAGE AND OUR WONDERFUL COMMUNITY PROJECT! Hello everyone. Firstly, we would like to apologize for the inactivity and lack of news for the past few weeks. Most of us, including ourselves, have been quite busy!... We are pretty much ready to open... however, before we do so, we must carry out the important job of selecting a few people to help manage and moderate our site. We are currently hiring for 12 moderators (2 from each grade) to help manage the forums, ANYONE can apply as long as they believe that they can fit the criteria below. Moderators on Girraween Forums will be required to: * Moderate Forums - this includes approving posts, moving posts into appropriate sections, removing inappropriate content/threads, modifying threads to conform to our guidelines/rules, etc... * Enforce and follow the rules in a fair manner, without policing the community too much. * Have a mature and positive attitude. * Be willing to help fellow members with an problems that they may have. * Follow the school values... and have common sense. * Be approachable... on the forums (and in real life, that'd be quite useful as well) * Be able to solve problems effectively. * Commit to their role as a forum moderator. * Use good grammar, spelling and syntax (which we're sure most of you do). * Contribute some good content! * Ensure that all members are in a safe, friendly and prosperous environment. * More!!! 08.01.2022 Most of the site has been developed (around 80%), just has a few scripts that need to be added. Beta testing shall commence soon, an announcement will be made in the next couple of days. Lots to come!

07.01.2022 Hey guys! ETA: Saturday 12th April 6:00pm (UTC+10:00, obviously...). Thank you to everyone who supports this project, looking forward to getting this launched.

05.01.2022 Successfully added our integrated chat system! Managed to imitate Facebook's chat system, but added chat-rooms and a more friendly UI. (Look at the bar near the bottom of the image.) Site is almost done, just a few final checks. Beta testing shall commence soon! More updates coming soon...

However, you must also enter your REAL Full Name (>>> MUST <<<), but don't worry, only registered and approved students can see your name, so its kept private :)
