22.01.2022 Our dance video entry into YOH Fest 2020 titled 'Illuminate' is about the survivors of the bushfires which devastated our country earlier in the year. We are so excited to announce that it has scored 2 awards in the State Act Belong Commit YohFest Festival: Overall Best Health Topic Award and Epic Production, as awarded by the judges. Did we mention this was against over 600 entries! There is a People's Choice Award and we would love it if you and your friends and family cou...ld watch our dance then vote for our school and item. Please go to the YOH Fest website https://watch.yohfest.com.au/ and go to Dance. Click on the crown in the bottom right corner of the video to enter your vote for People's Choice Award.

19.01.2022 You are invited to the official opening of Turning the Tide, 2020 Visual Arts Exhibition on Thursday 5th November from 5pm-7pm at the Girrawheen Senior High School Library and surrounds. The exhibition showcases visual artwork produced by secondary school students from Years 7-12 produced throughout the often uncertain times of 2020, some of which from home in isolation during the lock down. It also features selected artwork by Years 5 and 6 students from Boyare Primary, Koon...doola Primary, North Balga Primary School, Rawlinson Primary school, Roseworth Primary School and Waddington Primary School. It will be officially opened by Ms Margaret Quirk MLA Member for Girrawheen with awards presented by herself as well as representatives from our sponsors Rotary Club of Heirisson, Intent Consulting and Comscentre in both primary and secondary categories. A sausage sizzle and light refreshments will be provided.

09.01.2022 Turning the Tide, 2020 Visual Arts Exhibition Showcasing visual artwork by secondary school students from Year 7-12 at Girrawheen Senior High School, produced throughout the uncertain times of 2020 - some of which was even produced in isolation during the lock down. The exhibition features selected visual artwork by Year 5 and 6 students from Boyare, Koondoola, North Balga, Rawlinson, Roseworth, and Waddington primary schools. Congratulations to our Visual Arts Teacher and exhibition curator Ms Edel O'Reilly-Flynn and thank you to all staff helpers, guests who attending the opening event, exhibiting artists and also to our Media Club for capturing it all!
