20.01.2022 In these current times the #thisgirlcanvic week has been postponed. We will therefore work within current guidelines and look to reschedule our event in the fu...ture. This Girl Can VIC Due to the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation in Victoria, VicHealth has postponed our This Girl Can Week 2020 until further notice. Based on the most up-to-date health and safety advice from the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), we believe postponing our upcoming events is the most responsible option. The continued health and wellbeing of Victorians is, as always, our absolute priority and we recognise the need to minimise close contact with other people and help slow the spread of the virus. We want to support Victorian women through the This Girl Can Victoria campaign as best we can in these changing circumstances. Where possible, we are exploring other ways of delivering some activities, such as via digital channels. We appreciate how much work our supporters have put into preparing for this week and thank you for your enthusiasm. VicHealth will continue to monitor the situation and let you know when a new date for This Girl Can Week is confirmed. The current situation in Victoria presents new challenges for our communities. Our teams are also thinking proactively about how we can best support Victorians, particularly those most vulnerable, to keep living healthy lives. For the latest information on the COVID-19 situation in Victoria, visit www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus. For all coronavirus questions visit dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus or call the Department of Health and Human Services hotline on 1800 020 080
