25.01.2022 Did you know that for GiveOUT Day 2020 we released an app? It was conceived and created by one of our amazing volunteer committee members. Available for iPhone, iPad and Android, it's free to download, plus you can purchase a specially designed GiveOUT Day wallpaper or smartwatch face to show your support for rainbow causes. All funds raised via purchases in the app will help GiveOUT to continue to deliver GiveOUT Day, as well as workshops and resourcing support services in 2021. https://giveout.org.au/giveout-app

24.01.2022 The Queer Plus project is a multi-artform installation featuring the Q+Hub, a reclaimed and architecturally modified shipping container, that will take up a short residency in inner city Melbourne as well as 4 other regional locations across Victoria. On GiveOUT Day, they raised $2,856 for their incredible project

23.01.2022 @coastaltwistfestival set an ambitious goal to raise $3000 to go towards their festival of radical inclusion and visible diversity. They smashed their goal, raising an amazing $4897!

17.01.2022 One foot in is a new podcast hosted by two Australian queer friends from a Lebanese background, living in Sydney and Melbourne. Each episode explores diverse perspectives on intersectional identity, and challenges mainstream narratives of being out. 14.01.2022 Transcend raised $7,700 on GiveOUT Day for their youth advocacy and leadership skills program - which will include media training, campaign work, public speaking and how to advocate. 05.01.2022 We are taking a moment to shoutout one of our biggest supporters of GiveOUT Day 2020, The Funding Network Australia In their event, The Virtual Rainbow, we managed to raise $153,100 for LGBTQ Domestic Violence Awareness Foundation, Rainbow Families, and Transgender Victoria. Which brings our fundraising total for GiveOUT Day 2020 to a whopping $299 300! We are just getting started - and aim to be back in 2021 bigger than ever!

04.01.2022 We reached our goal and then some! More than $106,000 today, PLUS $27K in matching donations yet to be distributed, PLUS last night we raised $154K at TFN Virtual Rainbow... 01.01.2022 We can't believe it's been two weeks since our most successful GiveOUT Day ever! 63 different LGBTIQ+ organisations from around Australia signed up, and together they raised $146,200 (including $27,000 in matching donations). More than 1,100 people donated from Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Germany, the UK, and the US! We are SO PROUD of our rainbow community. We are still recovering from what was an incredible day, but we will have lots of news to share in the co...ming weeks and months - so watch this space!
