24.01.2022 Big shoutout to all the women out there, happy international women’s day. Grateful that we have evolved from the origins of women’s oppression and I live in a country where we have progressed forward to give women equal rights. If you want to give a child a book of tales about cougrageous and intelligent women ‘good night stories for rebel girls’ is the book for you. Shining my light in this photo with Magenta and her beautiful foster care Mum Claire, foster sister Shari, Myself, my daughter Eden and the beautiful Magenta.

24.01.2022 Congratulations to Magenta for receiving the youth futures award for children in care. Magenta received the award for; her leadership roles, starting a new business and courage in her transition year. I personally admire Magenta’s positive mindset and choosing to live life to her fullest potential. This choice helps her to draw on experiences and people that support her in her personal growth and accomplishments. By tuning into this frequency, she is kicking goals . 2020, I really hope we can find this beautiful girl a house to meet her physical needs because she needs to keep blossoming Thanks for your support buying Magentas keyrings and lanyards. Maybe you could buy a little keyring for someone special and feel good helping Magenta and giving a gift with meaning . My daughters 10 and all her friends ask for a keyring for their birthday because they love her product and supporting her .

Southern Beaches community Garden put on a wicking bed workshop for Zac. His family joined us to create his very own vegetable patch. Zac and I will learn how nurture and care for the beautiful plants. Grateful to have the community gardens in our life

I’m grateful I can support Magenta to participate inclusively and economically in society. 11.01.2022 Today Magenta and I did 8 car transfers to drop earrings off to MoeMoe Designs, buy toilet paper from a small local business, post out orders and buy a stand display for a shop. We are hearing sad stories of businesses struggling people loosing jobs due to Corona Virus. My heart goes out to people struggling. Try to be positive and be grateful for the little things and surround yourself with positive people. Singapore along with Taiwan and Hong Kong have recorded only a hand...ful of deaths and relatively few cases. Early intervention is key and our government is following this best practice. Keep living and follow advice. Be mindful we all need food items take what you need because the poor and disadvantaged are the people who miss out when you take more than what you need. Keep buying local and fill your bucket with happiness everyday. Be Australian, be kind, be caring and together we will be okay. See more

10.01.2022 First day back. The mircro business trial is over . Magenta wants to be boss lady and sell everything herself . Goals are to learn how to order stock, set up and manage her own Etsy site to sell her products and find a retail outlet to stock her keyrings. We have sold out of keyrings. Only lanyards available. Magenta did her first restock order today. Keyrings will be available soon. Thanks again to everyone for your orders and support.

10.01.2022 Look at this team of nature lovers from @plantsinabox. Meet Amanda and Mitch the nursery green fingers. In the middle is beautiful Zac humorous, loving guy with so much knowledge about, emotions, science, nature and superpowers. His spreading his infectious glow @plantsinabox and also filling their needs to get jobs done . Not to mention he fills my cup with happiness too. What an awesome company that has great values, loves nature and can see the the value of diversity .... Zac made 100 boxes again at work. He is now a professional ‘boxer’ . He was really ‘grounded’ when learning to propagate and Amanda, she was ‘green with envy.’ Meanwhile, I finished Zac’s potting job so he could trial out a new task. This was driving me ‘potty’. Zac’s teaching us about puns and how to laugh at work . Don’t forget if you need a special gift, houseplant or want to plant your garden out with baby plants and watch them grow plantsinabox have you covered. Grateful, for NDIS that is allowing people with a disability to get out into society and support them to participate inclusively. Grateful, I can use my teaching skills as a support worker. Zac is building his capacity for his future job in a gardening crew .Today was a great day whipper snippering, watering, being involved in the community and travel training to learn how to catch the bus to and from work . #autismemployment #followyourdreams

Thank you @plantsinabox for making Zac feel welcome and apart of your team. Zac made 100 boxes today. At Southern Beaches Community Gardens we are ...building OUR gardening skills here; lawn mowing, growing plants, composting, and community events. Zac and I are going to be involved in a great community initiative through the Gardens. A grant has been won to turn community food waste into valuable gardening resources.
