05.01.2022 Day 1 in Manila was a great success with our diabetes and stroke prevention program really gathering momentum and changing/saving lives in the slums. We have trained the locals how to test blood sugar and pressure and give advice which can save lives. We also did Chiro, acupuncture, even nursing for a gangrenous wound and exercise rehab to help serve further. We also had Prue doing a home visit occ therapy teaching a stroke victim how to dress herself. It’s only small atm but from these things, big things grow. So excited for the future

02.01.2022 Day 2 another great day. Today we went to the don bosco region, one of the poorest living conditions anywhere on the planet. It really highlights how fortunate we are, however the amazing smiles on the people’s faces, particularly when we can offer them some help and support is so rewarding. So proud of our team of locals who we have taught, who are leading the way in their local community

02.01.2022 Day 3 was our best yet. It was a very busy day in the slums of perola, with the team checking close to 200 people. It was an amazing effort from the team who gave their absolute all. The aus day celebrations were certainly a little more tame due to exhaustion. Thanks everyone for their support and can’t wait to share more stories with you all back home.
