08.01.2022 Yesteday Campbell started his week long training with Middlesbrough FC with their under 18s - getting coached by former England International and Real Madrid player Jonathan Woodgate. Your football passport for the world #weopendoors
06.01.2022 UPDATE! So Campbell was playing with Middlesbrough 18s vs an under 23s university team Just before half time MFC were up 1-0 thanks to an assist from Campbell.... Unfortunately a few minutes later, whilst chasing a through ball, Campbell was sliced by both CB’s. Unlike the usual Campbell, he stayed down! After several doctor and Physio reviews he has strained the ligaments in his knee from the challenge and his recover will take 6-8 weeks. He has since come home, staying in contact with MFC who hope to see him back in England when he has recovered to train with them again. In only the 2 days he was at MFC He made a massive impression on everyone at the club. Below is a photo with the 18s Coach and assistant Coach before he flew out with them asking him to come back Can anyone recognize the coaches (both former players)!?
