24.01.2022 Little bit of weather isn’t going to stop us from being opening!! Doors are open. Things are a little different capacity wise due to Covid 19 We will be allowed to have up to 10 drivers on the venue at one time, so we highly suggest to book in advance Due to the low number of drivers allowed on our venue we cannot have spectators unfortunately Face masks, hair nets and rubber gloves will be supplied and mandatory. ... 20.01.2022 Unfortunately due to increasing costs associated with Covid19 All Go Karts Go locations will undergo a slight price increase in order to enable us to comply with government regulations and fulfill our duty of care to the community to make sure we are providing the same fun we always have in a covid safe manner to the absolute best of our ability. All of our centres have covid safe plans in place that have been passed by the NSW Government. Our new prices as of the 1st of Dec...ember will be $5 licence (valid for 12 months) $35 for 1x13 minute ride Special $55 for 2x13min rides Per Person Special $75 for 3x13min rides Per Person We’ve held off for as long as we can but the increase in regulations has led to this difficult decision. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those happy customers who have already visited and supported us during these difficult and strange times Happy karting Everyone! 19.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***** Due to the recent update from the Prime Minister all non-essential business are being shut down from 12:00 Monday 23/3/2020. This unfortunately means Go Karts Go will be shut for the next 2 weeks and we will assess the situation as more information comes to light for if that time period needs to be extended/reduced. We look forward to things getting back to normal so we can get back to providing the people of Newcastle with the fun we have provided... for over 25 years! We will still be manning the phones and answering emails so if you have a booking coming up with us please contact us to discuss the options available for your booking. For updates to when we will be open again please follow our Facebook pages. We hope that when everything does return to normal the community does support small businesses in local communities as small business will suffer most in these times. During this tough period for everyone please take the time to enjoy your family, reach out to your loved ones via phone/social media to check on them. All spectators must sign in via our QR Code's that are located around the center and must be completed before entering the building. Reporting to the Manager, the position includes: *Assisting customers on and off the track *Ensure racers follow the Track Rules... *Customer service *General facility maintenance such as light cleaning / lawn mowing *Outdoor physical work *Weekend work, with some shifts available weekdays *Extra shifts available during school holidays The ideal candidate will possess the following: *Ability to travel any 4 of our venues for shifts *Highly reliable, punctual and well organised *Excellent communication and proven customer service skills *Positive, hard-working can-do attitude *Must be physically fit and able to work long shifts *Shows initiative and attention to detail *Clean presentation *Be a team player *Advancement within the organisation is possible for committed employees. GKG will be opening this Friday as per strict NSW Government guidelines which will see us limiting the number of people at our tracks... at any one time while also implementing a number of hygiene initiatives for the safety of both our staff and customers including an Australian first helmet sanitising machine proving us to be at the front of the latest technology For go kart tracks in Australia. Quoted by Wayne Russell We have been instructed by Service NSW that we are allowed 10 people to be on the karts at any one time. Whilst closed we have been researching how best to care for our staff and customers and have implemented new procedures to help keep everyone safe. In addition to every driver receiving disposable hairnet, gloves and surgical mask Go Karts Go has invested in one of the first helmet sanitising machines in Australia. The new machine will sanitise helmets after every use and can kill echoli and virus’s as per Australian Health Standards, using the latest ozone technology. GKG are proud to be leading the way in this technology. We are looking forward to bringing back some fun to our city and hope people will come along to support our small business and enjoy time outdoors with their family and friends. Even Archie our GKG mascot (border collie) will be behind the counter to greet everyone. Any changes to our operating times or closures will be directed through our social media platforms but we are still open to the public.
