18.01.2022 With another week beginning its time for our Member Spotlight Monday. Introducing one of our deserving nominees for the 2019 Short Stay Resident Manager of th...e Year. Guy & Kathryn Elliot are the Property Managers of the beautiful Sailfish Point townhouses, located in Mermaid Waters. Living in these beautiful townhouses make us green with envy right on the water in a private paradise! Chatting with the duo, we uncovered a trick of the trade that others may like to introduce. Guy & Kathryn use a go-pro camera to film their units for entry and exit reports. Many times, this method has proven to protect the owners, management and tenants from any disputes. Guy said Recently, we had a tenant who was absolutely convinced the hole in the wall was not from her time in the apartment. Luckily, filming the entry report we could show clear as day that everything was in great condition when she moved in. When she went back, finally the kids confessed that they had been playing around and created a hole. It really protected us from dispute and also meant we didnt have any animosity when the tenant left. What a pleasure it was to chat with a couple who has great passion for the industry. Thanks again Guy & Kathryn for some great tips!
