23.01.2022 Dear R9 Karate-Ka, Effective from Tuesday 17 November 2020 all classes will be suspended. As you may of all seen today in South Australia, S.A Health have put ...indoor sport into a two week closure which includes Karate. Please note that here at GKR, we care about our students and instructors so we fully support this decision. A text will be sent to students tomorrow morning letting them know about our classes temporarily closing and there training fees will be suspended during this period. It can take up to 48 hours for payments to stop so those that have money come out tomorrow or Wednesday then they may still have a payment come out. We ask that you keep an eye on your emails for official correspondence and please keep in contact with your Facebook Dojo pages for updates. And lastly please check in on your Karate friends and family. We supported each other through this last time, we can do it again this time.

15.01.2022 Awesome and fantastic Saturday class at Allenby Gardens this morning We reviewed our basic strikes, blocks, kicks, and long fighting stance, and briefly went through advanced strikes and an advanced block. Thank you to our wonderful parents who helped hold kick bags and focus mitts whilst we put our learning into action.... We finished the class with Kata work. Our champions will be stronger after todays push ups and sit ups - we learned to respond with enthusiasm

08.01.2022 URGENT ATTENTION! Due to the large number of students grading on this Sunday, 13th September 2020, we will have to split the grading into 2 sessions. The first ...session (check in at 10.30am) will be as usual from 11.00am - 12.30pm for White belts to Yellow belts only. Second session (check in at 12.30pm) will be from 1.00pm for Yellows belt and above. We will impose a "One parent allow in for each family rule" in order to comply with the current Covid-Safe Plan requirement on social distancing imposed by the State government. I do apologise for this last minute changes as the numbers attending was not expected to be this huge. Thank you for your understanding. See more
