24.01.2022 Happy New Year to all the Mighty Beldon Bats Dojo’s reopen today so let’s smash our way into 2021. Although there were some bumps in the road during last year Myself and Sensei Malissa were so proud of all of you for your determination and perseverance. The level of enthusiasm and energy in the Dojo each and every week was fantastic!!! It was an absolute pleasure to train with so many passionate and dedicated students. At the last class of 2020 we congratulated Will, Sophi...e, Luisa, Tahlia, Boost, Lucas, Zoe and Zac for achieving their next belt levels. Well done you all worked so hard. We also awarded a certificate of Achievement to Andy for consistency in training. Although not quite being ready to attempt his next grade Andy has progressed very well in his coordination and focus. Our Student of the Year for 2020 went to Casey!!! Casey is always focused and completely present when training in the Dojo. She is a role model for the lower ranks and an inspiration to all of us. She is also extremely consistent with her training rarely missing a session. Congratulations Casey!!! Look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday! DON’T FORGET WE ARE AT THE HEATHRIDGE DOJO FOR ALL OF JANUARY!

22.01.2022 Good morning Bats Tomorrow night I will be heading up to the Butler Dojo to train under the tutelage of Sensei Warrick. The Dojo is located at the Butler Community Centre - 55 Kingsbridge Boulevard, entry to the carpark is off Connolly Drive.... Sensei Warrick has been my longest serving instructor and has been teaching me since I was a green belt. I have the utmost respect and admiration for him. I would like as many of you as possible to join me on our first ever visit to his Dojo. You are welcome to make your own way there but for those who would like to we will be meeting at the Beldon Dojo at 5PM SHARP to travel as a Convoy. The Butler Lesson starts at 6pm. For those who are not able to make it Sensei Malissa will still be conducting a lesson at the Bat Cave as per normal. Don’t forget to bring your friends or family along this week to get them started on their own karate journey and join in the fun.
