24.01.2022 Hello Mums, Dads and students of GKR. I have received a call from Bundoora Secondary today postponing tonight's class. Don't be concerned. There has been NO COVID INFECTION linked to the school. But is a directive from the education department. They have assured me that class will begin next week. Sorry for the very late notice. Only just received the phone call 10 minutes ago. I will however be running Preston class tomorrow night from 6 till 730. And if you were looking forward to training tonight feel free to come down to Holy Name in Rob Street Preston, and we will get in some training tomorrow night. If not however I will be at Bundoora Secondary next Wednesday to re-launch our year. See you soon. Sensei Jason

21.01.2022 Hey Honey Badgers it’s Sensei Jason here. Well no sooner did we start, then we have to stop again. The good news is that we will still run class tomorrow night. The bad news is will be off for the following six weeks. But rest assured we will be back and better than ever once this Covid situation is finished. Hope to see you tomorrow night. Please keep an eye on this post if anything changes between now and tomorrow night.

16.01.2022 Attention to all Australian students and instructors: I’d like to update you all on a recent decision we’ve made about our tournament schedule for the remainder... of 2020. Given the ongoing health concerns and the likely hesitation many people may have to travel as a result of the Coronavirus situation, we have decided not to hold a GKR Karate Australian Titles in 2020. As you know, it has been a tradition of GKR’s for the last 20+ years to hold a National tournament at the end of each year, but the probable lack of interstate entries would have greatly diminished its ‘national’ status. What we will do instead is push our State Titles back to November (instead of September) and these will become the major end-of-year event on the GKR competition calendar in 2020. This will give all regions the chance to hold some local tournaments in September/October in the lead up to the November State Champs. Your Regional Instructor will keep you updated regarding this in the coming weeks. Thank you for your understanding.

05.01.2022 Hey students and Sensei’s of Greensborough Prime Dojo. As you may know that Wednesday night is the last class of the year. And I am running a music class called, GKR GOES TO THE MOVIES!!!!. We will be doing karate to music. Come as your favourite movie character. Anything from Avengers to Grease and everything in between. It’s a double session so bring water. I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday to send off 2020 for good with a ripper class!!!
