22.01.2022 Go-Kan-Ryu Karate (GKR) is a traditional Japanese style of karate. GKR was founded by Robert Sullivan in Adelaide, South Australia. Robert first began training in the art of karate in 1964, and spent time training and teaching in both Japan and the USA before establishing GKR in 1984. GKR Karate is taught in a non-contact environment and promotes both character and physical development. GKR is a club for all ages and promotes self-defence, fitness, coordination, discipline, c...onfidence and stress relief. 16.01.2022 URGENT ATTENTION! Due to the large number of students grading on this Sunday, 13th September 2020, we will have to split the grading into 2 sessions. The first ...session (check in at 10.30am) will be as usual from 11.00am - 12.30pm for White belts to Yellow belts only. Second session (check in at 12.30pm) will be from 1.00pm for Yellows belt and above. We will impose a "One parent allow in for each family rule" in order to comply with the current Covid-Safe Plan requirement on social distancing imposed by the State government. I do apologise for this last minute changes as the numbers attending was not expected to be this huge. Thank you for your understanding. See more

15.01.2022 Ladies and Gentlemen, Let me be the bearer of GREAT NEWS! The inaugural Region 9 Burton class begins this month on the 25th! Class is at Burton Community Centre, 386 Waterloo Corner Road near the Springbank Plaza Shopping Centre. Class runs from 6pm - 7pm. please arrive early to complete the COVID19 paperwork as required and allow for sign in. Looking forward to seeing you there!
